    • The present invention provides a storage system whereby it is also possible to back up the generational management information of a copy source disk array device.The disk array device of the primary site manages back-up data of a main volume, in a plurality of generations, by means of differential snapshots. The differential data of the main volume and the main pool is transferred from the primary site to the secondary site, at a prescribed timing. The secondary site holds the secondary volume, which is a copy of the main volume, and a secondary pool which is a copy of the main pool. The primary site also transfers the generational management information to the secondary site. The generational management information may also comprise a differential bitmap table and a withdrawal destination address management table. The secondary site holds a copy of the generational management information. Thereby, it is possible to back up the whole of the data, including the generational management information, and hence protection against failure is improved.

    • In a fuel-injection system with a pressure regulator disposed in the middle of a fuel supply line and located upstream of a fuel injector for regulating the pressure of fuel flowing through the fuel supply line and for returning surplus fuel via the pressure regulator into a fuel tank, a reflux pipe arrangement is located downstream of the fuel injector and connected at one end to the downstream end of the fuel supply line and connected at the other end to the fuel tank. A reflux control device is disposed in the middle of the reflux pipe arrangement for controlling a flow rate of the fuel flowing through the reflux pipe arrangement. The reflux control device is comprised of a reflux control valve or a fluid-flow restriction orifice member.

    • A throttle valve device for an internal combustion engine of an automotive vehicle. The throttle valve device comprises a throttle body having a part of an intake air passageway. A throttle valve is fixedly mounted on a valve shaft and rotatably disposed in the part of the intake air passageway. A driving device is disposed to the throttle body to drive the throttle valve through the valve shaft. A reduction gear mechanism through which the driving device and the valve shaft are mechanically connected is provided to transmit a driving force of the driving device to the valve shaft in a manner to accomplish a speed-reduction for a rotational movement of the driving device to be transmitted to the valve shaft. A cam follower is rotatably disposed to the throttle body. A single biasing device is provided to always bias the cam follower onto the cam surface of the cam lever. Additionally, a cam lever is incorporated with a gear of the reduction gear mechanism to rotate together with the gear as a one-piece member. The cam lever has an opening whose periphery serves as a cam surface on which the cam follower is in press contact under a biasing force of the biasing device. The cam surface is configured to allow the throttle valve to rotate from a fully closed position to a fully opened position. The cam surface has a bent section which causes the throttle valve to take a partly opened position when the driving force of the driving device is released. The partly opened position is between the fully closed and fully opened positions.

    • A throttle valve device for use in an internal combustion engine comprises a valve shaft extending across an air induction passage of the engine. A valve plate is fixed to the valve shaft to rotate therewith in the air induction passage. An electric actuator is connected to one end of the valve shaft to rotate the valve shaft with the aid of electric power. A biasing cam structure is incorporated with the valve shaft to bias the valve place toward a predetermined intermediate open position. The biasing cam structure comprises a cam plate which is secured to the other end of the valve shaft to rotate therewith and has a generally V-shaped cam edge; a loading lever which has a base end pivotally connected to a fixed portion; a follower member which is connected to a leading end of the loading lever and slidably engaged with the V-shaped cam edge; and a biasing member which biases the loading lever in a direction to press the follower member against the V-shaped cam edge.

During the reciprocating motion, one of the movable blocks breaks contact with the associated positioning member and additionally the reciprocating link breaks contact with the other positioning member by pushing the associated one of the movable blocks in a direction of increasing the biasing force created by the single resilient member.
