    • A terminal assembly includes a wire including a core made of metal and covered with a coating, a terminal including a wire connecting portion connected to an end portion of the wire, a sealing resin sealing the wire connecting portion, and a housing including a through hole with a front opening and a rear opening. The terminal is made of a different kind of metal from the core of the wire. The housing accommodates the terminal in the through hole. The wire connecting portion includes an exposed portion not covered with the sealing resin and unexposed portions covered with the sealing resin. The exposed portion is positioned between the unexposed portions in a front and rear direction, thereby protecting the wire connecting portion from electrolytic corrosion. The exposed portion is obtained after the sealing resin is worn by being rubbed against an inner wall of the through hole.

    • A mass spectrometer that allows easy replacement of an MCP (microchannel plate) and is enabled to secure orthogonality between an incident surface of the MCP and an ion track at high accuracy is provided. A flight tube 2 where ions fly is arranged in a vacuum vessel composed of a vacuum flange 6 and a body 1, and an MCP group 4 is attached to a tail end of the flight tube 2 via an MCP-IN electrode 3. A vacuum flange 6 is attachably and detachably attached to the body 1, and the MCP group 4, by a spring 710 provided on a circuit board 7 for detection attached to the vacuum flange 6, is urged toward an end portion of the flight tube 2 so that its orthogonality with respect to an ion flight track is secured.

    • A magnetic position detecting device (10) includes a magnet (4); first to fourth magnetoelectric conversion elements (1A to 1D) formed on a virtual plane along a substrate (3); and a flux guide (5) made of a magnetic material. The flux guide (5) includes first and second protrusions (9B, 9A) provided at a distance from each other in the X-axis direction parallel to the virtual plane. As seen in the Z-axis direction perpendicular to the virtual plane, a center portion (MP) recessed in a concave shape is provided in the flux guide (5) in a mid-portion between the first and second protrusions. The first and fourth magnetoelectric conversion elements (1A to 1D) are provided approximately in the mid-portion between the first and second protrusions so as to cover a part of the center portion (MP) as seen in the Z-axis direction. The second magnetoelectric conversion element (1B) is provided between the first protrusion (9B) and the center portion (MP) as seen in the Z-axis direction. The second magnetoelectric conversion element (1B) is provided between the second protrusion (9A) and the center portion (MP) as seen in the Z-axis direction.
