    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane filtration module for detecting a functional deterioration of a filtration membrane which is capable of measuring the properties of a water filtrate as a water to be tested in situ without changing the properties of a water filtrate and does not need a lot of steps of sensor construction works at the time of exchange of a membrane filtration module and to provide a membrane filtration operating device.
      SOLUTION: The membrane filtration module is provided with a communication device by incorporating a sensor device into a filtration water discharge port of a case housing of a membrane filtration module. Thus, the properties of the filtration water can be measured. If the membrane filtration module is exchanged using, for example, ad hoc communication, the adjustment of the communication system is not needed anew. Although passage light of the filtration filter is set to a certain level because the capture of an impurity material is little when there is no leak from the filtration membrane, the passage light is reduced because the impurity material that leaks into the filtration water can be captured by the filtration filter and light is shaded by the captured impurity material of the filtration filter. The leak due to the filtration membrane failure can be detected and the failure is detected.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nuclear-fuel cladding tube whose corrosion and hydrogen absorption are reduced and which can deal with a high burnup and a long-term cycle operation by a method wherein a first oxide film layer and a second oxide film layer on its outside are formed on the outer surface by respectively prescribed methods. SOLUTION: A zirconium-based alloy nuclear-fuel cladding tube 4 which is used for a boiling water reactor or the like is endowed with an oxide film 5 which is composed of a first oxide film layer and a second oxide film layer which are formed at two steps. At a first step, the nuclear-fuel cladding tube 4 is immersed in an electrolytic solution such as, e.g. an ammonium borate solution or the like, it is anodized under a prescribed condition, and an oxide film 5a in a thickness of 0.3 to 5 μm is formed. At a next step, the nuclear-fuel cladding tube 4 is immersed, e.g., in a Zr alkoxide solution or it is sprayed with the solution, and a metal oxide film 5b in a thickness of 1 μm or lower is given to the outer side of the oxide film 5a from the outer side. A pore or a crack 24 in the oxide film 5a is covered completely with the metal oxide film 5b whose density is high.

    • PURPOSE:To avoid stress concentration between layers and improve anti-PCT and anti-corrosion capabilities by using such single layer cladding that weight percentage main component metal is high at the inner surface and low at the outer surface and the weight percentage of additive element is low at the inner surface outer surface. CONSTITUTION:In a fuel cladding tube 1, a plurality of sintered fuel pellets 2 formed by compaction are charged and a plenum spring is put on the top end and both ends are sealed by welding end plugs 4. The weight fraction of zirconium in the cladding is 99.5% at the inner surface and is decreased toward the outer surface. On the contrary, the content of alloy elements, Sn, Fe, Ni and Cr are increased toward the outer surface to be ca. 1.5% of Sn, 0.16% of Fe, 0.06% of Ni and 0.1% of Cr. On the outer surface, oxide coat is formed. By this, stress concentration between layers is avoided, the interaction with pellets 2 is mitigated at the inner surface by the high content zirconium and corrosion due to contact with water is prevented at the outer surface.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the collection amount of fine amorphous particles and the diffusion speed of said particles into a resin, by preparing an ion exchange resin for a condensed water desalting device by oxidizing only the surface of a resin on the condensed water side thereof or only the vicinity of the surface. CONSTITUTION:After a cation exchange resin is received in an electrolytic cell 1 having a 1% Na2SO4 solution received therein, a DC power source 3 is connected to a platinum electrode 2 and the cation exchange resin is stirred for 3-4hr by a stirrer 4 while a constant current of 2 ampere is made to flow to the electrode 2. Subsequently, the cation exchange resin 4 is taken out of the electrolytic cell 1 to obtain the cation exchange resin oxidized only on the surface. This resin is enhanced in the collection amount of amorphous clad and increased in the diffusion speed of amorphous fine particles into the resin and the separation of the amorphous fine particles from the surface part of the cation exchange resin becomes easy and, therefore, the efficiency of removing impurities in condensed water is enhanced.
