摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the pipe having high precision of dimensions, by inserting the core jig having large coefficient of thermal expansion into the polygonal pipe and controlling the dimensions and shape of the polygonal pipe at the heat treatment utilizing the difference of the coefficient of thermal expansion of both materials at the production of the polygonal pipe made of metal. CONSTITUTION:The core jig 2 made of the material having larger coefficient of thermal expansion than the polygonal pipe 2 to be heat-treated, is inserted into the polygonal pipe 1. The size of outer width of the corner part of the core jig 2 is made to have the finishing size at the time of high temperature of the polygonal pipe 1 at the time of high temperature of the heat treatment. By enlarging and restraining the corner part of the polygonal pipe 1 to be heat-treated to the finishing size at the high temperature with the corner part of the core jig 2 at the heat treatment and keeping this state for a long period of time, the polygonal pipe 1 to be heat-treated is finished to the prescribed dimensions with good precision. Besides, the pins 3 are made to penetrate through the holes provided at the neighborhood of both end parts of the polygonal pipe and are screwed to the core jig 2. With the combination of the tensile force in the circumferential directions by means of the pins 3, the polygonal pipe 1 can be restrained and annealed effectively.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simply and inexpensively start a pressurized fluidized bed combined power generating plant by supplying the steam generated from a starting auxiliary boiler to a steam turbine for turning its driving shaft at the start of a generator, and by supplying the air produced with the rotation of the driving shaft from an air compressor to a pressurized fluidized bed boiler. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting of a plant, a station service boiler 48 as a starting auxiliary boiler is started, and the steam generated is supplied to a steam turbine 18 through a pipeline 46 for turning a driving shaft 12. By the rotation of the driving shaft 12, a gas-turbine air compressor 14 coaxially connected thereto is driven, and compressed air is supplied to a pressurized fluidized bed boiler 26. Thereafter, in the process the evaporation of the pressurized fluidized bed boiler 26 is increased, the steam quantity being generated by the station service boiler 48 is decreased, and the steam generated by the pressurized fluidized bed boiler 26 is supplied to the steam turbine 18 through a pipeline 36 for turning the driving shaft 12. Thereby, a generator 22 coaxially connected to the driving shaft 12 is driven, so that starting is completed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make minimum or avoide a reverse response of a gas turbine output by constructing a gas turbine and a steam turbine as a single shaft coupled construction and absorbing a delayed response operation of the gas turbine by making use of an increased moment of inertia of the coupled construction. CONSTITUTION:Combustion gas 30 of a pressurized fluidized bed boiler 3 is supplied to an expansion turbine 12 through a fuel gas piping 32 after passage of a dust removal device 31 and a precision dust removal device 31 to generate power. A gas turbine 4, a steam turbine 5 and an electric generator 6 are mechanically connected through a shaft, and the power of the expansion turbine 12 serves to drive an air compressor 11 and the electric generator 6. With an increase of moment of inertia caused by the one shaft arrangement of the gas turbine 4 and the steam turbine 5, there can be minimized and absorbed the follow-up of the gas turbine to the electric generator due to the promotion of an in-furnace combustion reaction caused by an increase of the capacity of a pressure vessel of the pressurized fluidized bed boiler upon a change in a load.

At the time of emergency, combustion air is flowed to the combustion air adjustment system, and simultaneously, combustion gas in the furnace 6 is flowed to the combustion gas by-pass system. Consequently, at the time of emergency, it comes to be possible to maintain pressure difference between the pressure vessel 5 and the furnace 6 within an allowable range and simultaneously to restrain generation of overspeed of a gas turbine minimum.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a Zr alloy with high corrosion resistance by quenching (beta- quenching) a Zr alloy from the beta-phase range and heat treating it in the alpha-phase range while applying stress. CONSTITUTION:A Zr alloy is quenched (beta-quenched) from the beta-phase range preferably at 200-1,000 deg.C/sec cooling rate, and the quenched Zr alloy is reheated to the alpha-phase temp. range, whereby Fe and Cr solubilized in the Zr matrix in a supersatd. state are finely precipitated as an intermetallic compound in the grains and at the grain boundaries. At the same time, the concn. distribution of Sn is made more uniform to restore the ductility and to enhance the corrosion resistance. As a result, a Zr alloy member with high corrosion resistance is obtd., and when a fuel cladding pipe or a fuel assembly channel box for a nuclear reactor is manufactured using the member, high corrosion resistance and a long life are provided.
