    • PURPOSE:To recognize the wear limit for all dies and to improve the line working rate by judging the output value of each position adjuster for dancer rolls set between plural wire drawing machines arranged in series. CONSTITUTION:Even if a diameter D3 of a wire after wire drawing is larger than the prescribed value because a die 31 is worn away, this wire rod running speed after drawing is not changed because the target value of the wire rod running speed V3 is set by a speed setting device 3. Therefore, from the relation of the equation V2X(D2) =V3X(D3) , the output of the position adjusting device 53 is changed so as to increase the speed V2. And if a die 21 is worn, the diameter of wire D2 after drawing is enlarged for the same reason above, the output of the position adjusting device is changed so as to make the speed V2 low. Therefore, if it is detected that the output of the position adjusting device 53 to be inputted to the 1st output detector 54 exceeds a prescribed range being set with zero as the center, it can be detected that either the dies 31 or the dies 21 has worn. In the same way, the 1st output detecting device 44 can detect either wear of the dies 21 or the dies 11.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent disconnection, reverse rotation, etc., in a line of wire drawing machines by multiplying a speed command value by the position signal of a dancer roll arranged between a front and a rear wire drawing machine and adding this multiplied result to the speed command value to control the speed of the wire drawing machine. CONSTITUTION:The dancer roll 30 is arranged between a 1st and a 2nd wire drawing machine 10,20 to absorb the difference between the speeds of the wire 2 passing through both wire drawing machines 10,20. In this line of wire drawing machines, a set value from a speed setter 3 is transmitted to speed controllers 15,25 of both wire drawing machines 10,20 through an acceleration-deceleration computing element 4 to control the speed. Further, the position signal of the dancer roll 30 is transmitted from a position oscillator 31 to a position adjuster 34 to obtain a deviation from the set value by the position setter 33. In a multiplier 40, this deviation value is multiplied by a speed command value to the 1st wire drawing machine 10 from the above acceleration-deceleration computing element 4. This multiplied result is added by an adder 16 to this speed command value, then, transmitted to a speed controller 15. By this method, disconnection, reverse rotation, etc., are prevented from occurring in time of low speed operation such as starting, stopping of the line of wire drawing machines.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the precision of the line speed by connecting operation amplifiers to the input terminals of diodes and connecting a feedback resistance having the resistance value equal to the input terminal resistance of the operation amplifier between the input terminal of the operation amplifier and the output terminal of the diode and correcting the forward voltage drop of the diode. CONSTITUTION:The output terminals of volumes 8 and 11 are connected to the input terminals of diodes 10 and 12 through operation amplifiers 13 and 14, respectively, and the output terminals of the diodes 10 and 12 are combined and connected to a controller 4 through an operation amplifier 15. The operation amplifiers 13 and 14 are equipped with resistors r1 and r3 at the input terminals, and the resistors r2 and r4 having the respective equal values to those of the resistors r1 and r3 are connected as feedback resistors to the part between the input terminals of the operation amplifiers and the output terminals of the diodes 10 and 12. The operation amplifier 15 is equipped with a resistor r5 at the input terminal, and the resistor r6 having the equal value to r5 is connected as feedback resistor between the input and output terminals. Since, with such constitution, each forward voltage drop of the diodes 10 and 12 is corrected by the operation amplifiers 13 and 14, the line speed can be detected with high precision even in the low speed region.
