摘要： A method and apparatus for reducing or eliminating crosstalk between a plurality of electron beams is described. The plurality of electron beams may produce test areas on a large area substrate that are adjacent wherein secondary electrons from one test area may be detected in an adjacent test area. In one embodiment, the timing of a primary beam emission and detection of secondary electrons from that primary beam is controlled to eliminate or reduce the possibility of detection of secondary electrons from another primary beam.

摘要： The invention is a process to facilitate contacting of one or several power electronics components (10) with strip conductors (14, 15) on a substrate (12, 18) with the aid of a contact device (1) with several flat contact elements (6, 8) that are connected to each other by means of bridges (4, 5), including the following steps: (a) the contact device (1) is set on the upper side of the component (10); (b) the underside of a contact element (6, 8) is electrically connected both with a contact surface (S, G) on the upper side of a component (10) and with a strip conductor (14, 15); (c) at least one of the bridges (4, 5) between the individual contact elements (6, 8) is severed by means of thermal gouging. The invention also includes an assembly (16, 16′) produced with the process as well as a contact device (1) with several flat contact elements (6, 7) to facilitate contacting of power electronics components (10).

摘要： To make holes in ceramic green sheets that are needed to create feedthroughs, it is proposed to make the holes by using a gas that is under a higher pressure than atmospheric pressure and that is expelled in a pulsed manner from a pressure vessel and thereby acts on a principal surface of a ceramic green sheet, at at least one location at which a hole is to be made, in such a way that material is shot out of the ceramic green sheet at that location. This eliminates the disadvantages associated with the use of punches to punch holes.

The electrical circuit is covered with a liquid crystal and is heated to a temperature just below the clearing point of the liquid crystal. The liquid crystal converts into its unordered condition given a temperature increase and leakage channel within the integrated circuit are completely localized. By irradiating a three-dimensional region, at least one current is induced in the region by generating electron-hole pairs within the electrical circuit, this at least one current causing a temperature increase at at least one weak point of the electrical circuit.
