摘要： A method for automatically editing a machining process so that a machine tool can be operated efficiently. A processor of an automatic programming apparatus transfers a leading definition statement related to upper surface machining from a first file to a second file of a memory device of the programming apparatus, deletes it from the first file (S13), and executes sequentially the transfer of the upper surface machining process definition sentence for designating the same tool number as the tool number designated by the leading upper surface machining process definition statement to the second file and its deletion from the first file. Similar processings are sequentially executed for each of other tool numbers, and the upper surface machining process definition statements are stored in bulk in the second file for each tool number. Similarly, side surface process definition statements are stored in bulk in the second file for each tool number but separately from the upper surface machining definition statements (S20 ∩ S25). As a result, a part program is edited in such a manner that the number of times of transfers between the upper surface machining and the side surface machining can be reduced. Therefore, it is possible to form a program which can operate efficiently the machine tool which involves essentially the exchange of tools for the shift between the upper surface machining and the side surface machining.

摘要： An interactive automatic programming method in which errors in a part program can be discovered easily and only the required portion of the part program which has been corrected/edited can be executed again. In the method, first, a part program is displayed on the screen of a display. Every inputting of a command of executing one program statement by the operator (S4), one program statement is executed by a programming device and the execution result is displayed on the screen (S6, S7). When the operator judges that errors are included in the part program having executed, the operator inputs a correction command (S5) and locates a cursor on the statement having errors for specifying it. After the program error correction command is inputted (S13, S15), the errors of the program statement is removed. When the operator inputs a re-execution command (S18), the programming device executes again only the required portion of the part program from the part program statement from which errors are eliminated and to the next part program statement (S19).

A processor of an automatic programming apparatus reads out NC data block one by one (S2) at the time of the execution of NC data; judges whether or not an NC data execution interruption condition is satisfied for the NC data block thus read out in accordance with, for example, whether or not a specific code is contained in the data block (S3); displays the data on the input display column of a display screen when the interruption condition is satisfied (S4), and thereby automatically interrupts the execution of NC data including a graphic display, such as a tool path display, based on the contents of the data blocks associated with satisfaction of the interruption condition, and read out and display of the next data block. Therefore, the operator can check data block associated with the satisfaction of the interruption condition without omission. After the data check, the execution of the NC data is resumed by the interruption canceling instruction inputted through the key operation by the operator (S5 ∩ S7).
