摘要： A process for the preparation of a 3-bromo-4-fluorobenzaldehyde acetal of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is methyl or ethyl,which comprises reacting a 3-bromo-4-fluoro-benzoic acid halide with ammonia to form 3-bromo-4-fluoro-benzoic acid amide, dehydrating said amide to form 3-bromo-4-fluoro-benzonitrile, reacting the nitrile with formic acid in the presence of a catalyst at a temperature between about 0.degree. and 150.degree. C. to form 3-bromo-4-fluorobenzaldehyde, and reacting said aldehyde with R.sup.1 OH or a derivative thereof capable of forming an acetal. The amide and nitrile are new compounds. The acetals are known intermediates in the synthesis of pyrethroid-like insecticides.

摘要： A process for the preparation of an optionally substituted trifluoromethyl-naphthalene which comprises contacting a compound of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 denotes hydrogen, alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, aryloxy, arylthio, polyhalogenoalkoxy, polyhalogenoalkylthio, halogen, nitro, halogenocarbonyl, halogenosulphonyl, alkylsulphonyl or arylsulphonyl, it being possible for the aromatic nuclei contained in the substituents R.sup.1 to be in turn substituted by halogen, alkyl, polyhalogenoalkoxy or polyhalogenoalkylthio,R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, halogen or alkyl andR.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 denote hydrogen, orR.sup.3 and R.sup.4 or R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 in each case together denote a fused-on aromatic ring, and wherein, in the case where R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 together form a fused-on aromatic ring,R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 independently of one another can also denote, in addition to hydrogen, halogen, nitro, halogenocarbonyl or halogenosulphonyl, and wherein, in the case where R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 together form a fused-on aromatic ring,R.sup.3 and R.sup.6 independently of one another can also denote, in addition to hydrogen, halogen, nitro, halogenocarbonyl or halogenosulphonyl,with carbon tetrachloride and hydrogen fluoride at a temperature of 70.degree. to 120.degree. 摘要： The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of 2,4,6-trifluoro-1,3,5-triazine (TFT) from 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine (TCT) or from mixed chlorinated/fluorinated 1,3,5-triazines by fluorination with sodium fluoride in dipolar aprotic solvents.The process is characterized in that TCT or mixed chlorinated/fluorinated 1,3,5-triazines or mixtures thereof are metered into a suspension of sodium fluoride in a dipolar, aprotic solvent, which is warmed to a temperature of between 120.degree. C. and 220.degree. C. and optionally contains a further solvent.
