    • A wheel bearing assembly is provided which can prevent lowering of the life of a bearing assembly due to entry of muddy water into the bearing assembly through a gap between fitting surfaces of a first inner member and a second inner member. These members are rotatably supported by mounting rolling elements between double-row raceways formed on an inner peripheral surface of an outer member and raceways formed on outer peripheral surfaces of the first and second inner members. A stem formed on the second inner member is inserted into a hole formed in the first inner member, and a tip of the stem is caulked to hold the first and second inner members in a coupled state. An annular groove is formed in an outer periphery of the stem. A seal ring is mounted in the annular groove.

    • A bearing sealing device is provided between inner and outer members of a wheel support bearing assembly and includes an annular sealing plate of an L shaped section and an elastic sealing member having an elastic body secured to a core metal of a reverse L-shaped section. The sealing plate includes a cylindrical wall, mounted on an outer periphery of the inner member, and a radial wall extending upwardly from one end thereof. The core metal includes a cylindrical wall, mounted on an inner periphery of the outer member, and a radial upright wall extending radially inwardly from one end thereof. The elastic body includes two side sealing lips, arranged radially of the core metal and having their tips held in contact with the radial upright wall. The distance between those side sealing lips is chosen to be equal to or greater than 0.1 mm.

    • A vehicle wheel bearing apparatus has an outer member, an inner member and double row rolling elements freely rollably contained between the outer raceway surfaces and inner raceway surfaces, respectively, of the outer member and the inner member. Either one of the outer member or inner member, on its outer side end, is integrally formed with a wheel mounting flange to mount a wheel. A plurality of bolt apertures is formed in the wheel mounting flange. The wheel is secured on the wheel mounting flange by a plurality of bolts. Cut-out portions are formed between the bolt apertures. The cut-out portions avoid the vicinity of each bolt aperture. Each cut-out portion is formed with a circular arc configuration so that its deepest portion is positioned closely to a pitch circle diameter of the bolt apertures.

    • A multiband antenna system for use in a motor vehicle comprising an antenna unit responsible for first and second frequency bands. The antenna unit is electrically coupled to a first conduit tube which is in turn coupled coaxially to a second conduit tube with a capacitor being interposed therebetween. The capacitor is arranged so as to act as a short with respect to the first frequency signal and act as an open for the second frequency signal. The first conduit tube is connected to a first feeding terminal for deriving the second frequency signal and the second conduit tube is coupled to a second feeding terminal to derive the first frequency signal. This antenna system is constructed by using only one antenna unit having a predetermined length, thereby allowing simplification of the arrangement of the antenna system for easy manufacturing.
