    • A method is implemented by a node in a wireless communication system (10). The method also includes determining (120), using the obtained results and from among the TPs (20) that transmit second radio signals based on the same cell identity, the particular TP (20) that transmits the second radio signal on which a positioning measurement is performed for determining a target wireless communication device's position. The method finally entails using (130) information related to the determined TP (20) to perform one or more positioning tasks.

    • A technique for operating a radio network node having at least one radio frequency receiver for receiving signals according to a wireless communication standard is described. A method implementation of the technique comprises providing RF receiver capabilities of the radio network node by transmitting a report message comprising report information. The report information pertains to a current RF receiver configuration with one or more current RF characteristics or possible RF receiver configurations with a range of one or more possible RF characteristic. The method also comprises receiving a control message comprising control information, wherein the control information pertain to a control of the current RF receiver configuration. The RF receiver configuration is then adapted based on the control information.

    • A method is implemented by a measuring node in a wireless communication system. The method includes performing positioning measurements at the measuring node on positioning signals that the measuring node receives from geographically separated transmission points, TPs, (20) of a shared cell during different respective positioning occasions offset in time. The positioning signals are based on the same cell identifier. The method also includes, at the measuring node, associating (220) a result of each measurement with the cell identifier as well as information indicating the timing of each positioning occasion during which the measuring node received a respective positioning signal used for that measurement. Finally, the method includes determining (230) at the measuring node, or assisting another node in determining, a target device's position based on the results of the measurements and the association.
