    • An inflator includes a hollow handgrip and an air cylinder having a shaft. One end of the shaft is connected with a piston in the cylinder and the other end of the shaft is provided with a stud extending out of the cylinder. A bottom wall and an opening are arranged respectively at opposite ends of the handgrip. A tapped hole is formed in the bottom wall for locking the stud. Through the opening, the cylinder may be stored in the handgrip to lessen the volume of the inflator. When using the inflator, a user draws the cylinder out of the handgrip and lock the stud to the tapped hole through the bottom end of the handgrip to thereby extend the shaft. Air is pumped out through an outlet of the cylinder by reciprocal axial motion of the shaft.

    • A dual-direction pump includes two cylinders arranged on opposite sides of a head portion and an inlet return-flow prevention device and a leakproof device mounted between the cylinder and the head portion for avoiding leakage at the juncture between the cylinder and the head portion or leakage induced by reverse flow in one of the cylinders in the case of a single-sided pumping operation in the other cylinder. The head portion has an outlet port to which an outlet return-flow prevention device is mounted. A knob is rotatably mounted to the outlet pot and a nut is fixed to the knob for selectively engaging an inflation valve to avert detachment. The outlet return-flow prevention device prevents reverse or return flow induced in the outlet port in order to reduce resistance caused thereby and enhances pumping efficiency.

    • An inflation device includes a central tube, a first mounting unit mounted onto an outside of a reception end of the central tube and a second unit connected to a connection portion on the other end of the central tube. The first mounting unit includes a first casing and an end cap, and the reception end includes a valve mouth and a core tube received therein. The second mounting unit includes inner threads that are connected with the connection portion. A groove is defined in the second mounting unit and an O-ring is engaged with the groove. The first and second mounting units can be connected with an American style tire valve and a French style tire valve, respectively. The first and second mounting units each have outer threads with the same diameter so as to be connected with a tire pump.

    • A portable air pump includes a tubular body, a barrel, a piston mechanism, a head, and a dispensing head. The tubular body has an upper cover having air inlet holes and a sealed bottom cover. The barrel has an air passage running through it along its axis direction. The piston has a center hole and a through hole, and a check valve is in positioned between the second end of the barrel and the bottom end of the piston. As the tubular body is moved in relation to the barrel away from the head, air flows into the tubular body through the air inlet holes and to the bottom of the tubular body through the through hole. Air is prevented from flowing out through the center hole of the piston by use of a check valve disc. As the tubular body is moved in relation to the barrel towards the head, air in the bottom of tubular body flows into the air passage of the barrel through the center hole, and out through the head and the dispensing head.

    • Pump connector for Presta valve is disclosed in which one end of a pump connector valve seal is formed with a hollow chamber, and is disposed inside a space of a cap having a channel. The hollow chamber is assembled with a valve seal insert which includes a through hole. The second end of the through hole is formed with an inner edge corresponding to the shape of the shoulder section of the Presta valve. An end cap is assembled with the cap for preventing the pump connector valve seal from separating from the cap. Accordingly, the Presta valve can be screwed together with a first internal thread of the cap, and at the same time the shoulder section of the Presta valve is tightly fitted to the inner edge of the valve seal insert for direct inflation.
