摘要： The present invention relates to silicon-free polyisocyanates or polyurethanes which contain at least one structural unit of formula (1) wherein m is 0 to 8, n is 0 to 8, m+n is>=2, R 1 and R 2 independently of one another are each hydrogen or an OH-free, optionally substituted C 1 to C 8 alkyl or cycloalkyl radical, R 4 is the radical obtained by removing the carboxylic acid groups from a difunctional aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having at least two carbon atoms, a cycloaliphatic dicarboxylic acid having at least 6 carbon atoms or an aromatic dicarboxylic acid having at least 6 carbon atoms, and R 3 is the same as R 1 or R 2 or corresponds to formula (2) wherein R 1 and R 2 are as defined above and R 6 is an alkyl or aryl radical obtained by removing an isocyanate group from a di- or polyisocyanate having optionally blocked NCO groups. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing these silicon-free polyisocyanates or polyurethanes.

The polyol component comprises 20-60 wt.% polyester component (AI) with 10-60 wt.% units derived from 8-30 carbon (C) aliphatic (un)saturated monocarboxylic acid(s) and 0.4-5 wt.% units derived from 3-8 C alpha , beta -unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid(s) or anhydride(s) capable of free radical polymerization and 40-80 wt.% polyacrylate component (AII). The polyisocyanate component (B) comprises blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate(s) and is used in an amount of 1-70 wt.% with respect to total solids in the dispersion.

Preparation of a dispersion of blocked polyurethane prepolymer comprises preparing the blocked polyurethane prepolymer by reacting at least a polyisocyanate (100 equivalent.%) (a) with thermally cleaved blocking agent (b) (50-90 equivalent.%, based on the isocyanate reactive group), monohydroxycarbonic acid (c) (5-45 equivalent.%, based on the isocyanate reactive group) as a hydrophilizing agent, polyhydroxycarbonic acid (d) (0-25 equivalent.%, based on the isocyanate reactive group) as a hydrophilizing agent and di- or polyfunctional chain extension component (e) (0-15 equivalent.%, based on the isocyanate reactive group) with a molecular weight of 32-350 g/mol, where when partially water miscible, oppositely inert isocyanate group is used an organic solvent with a boiling point of less than 120[deg]C (1013 mbar) is formed and the quantity of isocyanate group is selected such that the reaction solution contains 70-98 wt.% of polyurethane prepolymer after the complete reaction; dispersing the polyurethane prepolymer solution in water, where the carbonic acid group is deprotonated with a base before, during or after the dispersion; and distillatively removing the organic solvent completely during the dispersion. Independent claims are included for: (1) a dispersion of blocked polyurethane prepolymer obtained from the process; and (2) a substrate that is coated with the dispersion.
