摘要： Previous methods for the production of a hole in a component are very time-consuming and expensive, as special lasers having ultra short laser pulse lengths are used. The inventive method varies laser pulse lengths and ultra short laser pulse lengths are used exclusively in the region which is to be removed, wherein it is possible to have a noticeable influence on through flow and/or out-flow behavior. This, for example, the inner surface of a diffuser of a hole, which can be produced in a precise manner using ultra short laser pulse lengths.

摘要： A method of operating a membrane filtration module (5), the module (5) including one or more membranes (7) extending longitudinally between vertically spaced upper and lower headers (8, 9) into which the ends of the membranes (7) are potted. The membranes (7) have a permeable wall which is subjected to a filtration operation wherein feed containing contaminant matter is applied to one side of the membrane wall and filtrate is withdrawn from the other side of the membrane wall. At least one of the upper and/or lower headers (8, 9) has one or more openings (10) therein and the method including flowing the feed, at least in part, through the one or more openings (10) for application to the membrane wall. Apparatus for performing the method is also disclosed.

The holder is equipped with a bearing element, which comprises a bearing surface, which is designed in such a way that it allows a seating of the component part on the bearing element, and in this case serves as a support for at least a part of the external surface of the component part which has the opening, and a flow passage, which leads through the bearing element, with at least one outlet opening located in the bearing surface. The outlet opening is located in the bearing surface in such a way that, with the component part seated, it lies opposite the opening of the internal passage. Furthermore, the outlet opening in shape and flow cross section is adapted to the opening of the internal passage.

摘要： A rod pump control system includes a parameter estimator that determines from motor data parameters relating to operation of the rod pump and/or downhole dynamometer card without the need for external instrumentation, such as down hole sensors, echo meters, flow sensors, etc. In one embodiment, instantaneous motor current and voltage together with pump parameters are used in determining rod position and load. The rod position and load are used to control the operation of the rod pump to optimize the operation of the pump. Also disclosed in a pump stroke amplifier that is capable of increasing pump stroke without changing the overall pumping speed, or in the alternative, maintaining the well output with decreased overall pumping speed.
