    • A resource allocation method in a wireless communication system is provided to be applied to the resource allocation in all wireless communication systems using a repeater or multi-hop wireless communication systems, thereby being applied to communication equipment such as a base station in consideration of various channel environments and a multi-path. The service capability of each system is calculated according to the number of repeaters which will participate in communication, the number of repeaters is determined by being compared with the service capacity corresponding to the number of repeaters, and then a repeater is selected(S220). A service group is generated by determining mobile communication terminals which will receive a service for a unit time so that the service transmission amount of the system can become the maximum based on the service request quantity which each mobile communication terminal requests, the channel state between a base station and the repeater, and the channel state between the repeater and each terminal(S230).

    • A method and a system for TDD(Time Division Duplex) switching in a portable Internet system are provided to increase the accuracy of ranging between a RAS(Radio Access Subsystem) and a PSS(Personal Subscriber Station) as the RAS activates a reverse path and receives an initial ranging signal if a downlink with the PSS is completed. A system for TDD switching in a portable Internet system comprises a PSS(110), a RAS(122), an ACR(Access Control Router)(124), a contents server(140), and an IP network(130). If a downlink is received when a call connection is attempted, the PSS transmits an uplink including a control signal. The RAS transmits the downlink to the PSS according to a call connection request from the PSS, activates a reverse path immediately when the downlink is completed, and receives the uplink from the PSS. The ACR, a packet access router to connect a packet service network with the RAS, executes a handover function, a packet routing function, and an Internet access function. The contents server provides a data service to the PSS. The IP network receives packet data from the contents server and delivers the received data to the ACR.
