    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing nitotinic acid is provided to relieve low yield of biological production and environmental problem. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing nicotinic acid comprises: a step of culturing microorganism with quinoline productivity to obtain culture liquid containing quinolic acid; and a step of adding acid to the culture liquid. A method for attenuating or deleting quinolic acid phosphoribosyltransferase comprises: a step of substituting a gene encoding quinolic acid phospholibosyltransferase with a gene with attenuated or deleted enzyme activation; a step of changing a promoter of the gene with a promoter weaker than intrinsic promoter; or a step of deleting the gene from chromosome. The microorganism is E.coli(KMCC11165P).
