CONSTITUTION: A buckle includes upper and lower frames(104,106). When a tongue is inserted, the upper and lower frames form a tongue receptor to receive the tongue. The lower frame has an elongated hole, a cross slot and opposite frame side surfaces. The side surfaces have a latch plate slot vertically arranged to the insertion direction of the tongue. The upper frame has a cross slot at the lower plate. A latch plate(180) has an end portion(186) movable between engagement and release positions in the latch plate slot, when an opening in the tongue is abutted against the cross slot by the operation of a release button(250) and diaphragm(190). An ejector(131) slides along the center portion at the lower plate of the lower frame.

    • PURPOSE: A pillar anchor and a manufacturing method of pillar anchor having the improved upper structure is provided to separate the upper portion of a pillar anchor from a vehicle body without mounting a bush therebetween. CONSTITUTION: A steel plate(S) is embossed primarily by metal molds(K1,K2) having the center curved. A first base cylinder portion(S3a) for making a cylinder is formed on a side of the steel plate. Then, the first base cylinder portion is embossed secondarily by two metal molds having the central radius of curvature larger than one of the former two metal molds. A shorter second base cylinder portion(S3b) is formed therefrom. The center of the first base cylinder portion is spread and a first base bottom surface(S4a) for a bottom surface is obtained. The second base cylinder portion is embossed tertiarily by metal molds having the central radius of curvature larger than one of the metal molds. A third base cylinder portion(S3c) is formed, and the first base bottom surface is spread to form a larger second base bottom surface(S4b). The third base cylinder portion is embossed by flat metal molds to obtain a shorter fourth base cylinder portion(S3d). The second bottom surface is spread and a third base bottom surface(S4c) is formed. Finally, the center of the third base bottom surface is pierced by a metal mold and a punch to form a fixing hole. Thereby, the upper portion of a pillar anchor is separated from a vehicle body without using a bush therebetween.

A guide protrusion(216c) is formed in the middle of the side wall to restrict upward movement of an assembling unit and guide the motion, and a guider(217) is formed in the upper part of the side wall to slide a release button. A first protrusion(214) is formed in the inner periphery of an elongated hole(213), and a corner is protruded and rounded from the side of a steel plate. The assembling unit is fixed in the buckle assembly firmly at a collision by smoothening the corner of the elongated hole and enlarging the contact area of the seat belt.

An anchoring hole(105) of which diameter is longer than the diameter of an insertion part(6b) of the bolt and shorter than the diameter of the stepped head part of the bolt is formed in the center of the bottom face. According to the structure, the anchoring part of the mini anchor spaces apart from a vehicle body panel even without a spacer.
