    • A prosthetic heart valve includes a collapsible and expandable stent (302, 402) and a valve assembly (140). A first cuff (306) is positioned on the lumenal or ablumenal surface of the stent. The second cuff (650) may include apertures (653) that allow blood to pass through the second cuff into the spaces between the first and second cuffs.     • The present disclosure provides improved braiding methods that utilize a braiding eyelet (2) that may be housed on a carrier (3) in a braiding machine. The eyelet (2) includes a first side (4), a second side (6), and a flared opening (8) extending between the two sides (4, 6). The flared opening (8) includes a slot holder (12, 112) that has first and second slots (14, 16; 114, 116) sized and configured to allow a single end (18, 20; 124, 126, 128) to pass there-through such that when a group of two ends (18, 20) is used for the braiding, each individual end (18, 20) can pass through its own hole or slot (14, 16) to ensure that the end (18, 20) is locked in place and there is no space or clearance allowing them to cross over one another. Many embodiments of the present disclosure are suitable for constructing a medical device.
