摘要： Some of a plurality of frame images are made comparison object images for use in synthesizing a still image. Selecting one of the comparison object images as a comparison reference image and one as a target image, the comparison reference image and target image are compared, and a parameter is calculated. If the parameter does not meet a predetermined criterion, the target image is excluded from the comparison object images. Additionally, any number of frame images from among the plurality of frame images are set as comparison object images, and the aforementioned comparison is carried out until the total number of comparison object images and reference images serving as reference for synthesis is equal to or greater than a predetermined number. A synthesized image generating module 75 synthesizes the reference images and comparison object images whose total number is equal to or greater than the predetermined number, to generate a still image.

摘要： The focusing information visualization system of the invention extracts an edge having an edge intensity of not less than a first reference value Th1 and an edge width of not greater than a second reference value Th2 in a photographic image and displays the extracted edge in a preset color at a position of the edge extraction to be overlapped with the original photographic image on a screen. A focused area defined by the extracted edge is displayed as N divisional areas. In response to a user's operational specification of one divisional area among the N divisional areas, an enlarged photographic image corresponding to the specified divisional area at a desired magnification ratio is displayed on the screen. This arrangement adopts the automatic rough judgment and the user's final visual check to accurately recognize the focusing status of the photographic image.

The image processing apparatus includes: an image extraction module that extracts the multiple images used for generation of the one still image; a deviation computation module that computes a degree of deviation between each combination of the extracted multiple images; an exclusion module that excludes any image having the computed degree of deviation out of a preset threshold range from the extracted multiple images; and an image composition module that combines remaining images other than the excluded image to generate the one still image.
