摘要： A CCD camera takes rearview images of a vehicle so as to input them into a superposing image displaying device, and a vehicle index database stores a vehicle index indicating a vehicles's protruding region such as a spare tire for displaying the protruding region over a rear end of a rear reference position such as a bumper of the vehicle in the rearview image. A superposed image displaying device superposes the vehicle index stored in the vehicle index database and the rearview image taken by the CCD camera so as to provide a monitoring device. Thus, a rearview monitoring apparatus for a vehicle for displaying the rearview image of the vehicle and information of the protruding region for occupants in the vehicle can be provided.

摘要： A combustor comprises a passage area changing mechanism which relatively moves a flame holder relative to a premixed combustion nozzle in an axial direction so that the area of passage for premixed gas between an injection edge of the premixed combustion nozzle and a peripheral edge of the flame holder can be changed. Stable combustion can be maintained over a wide load range and reduction in NOx can be achieved.

摘要： First and second premixed burners having annular injection slots are concentrically adjacent and the injection slots are substantially aligned with each other in a longitudinal direction of the burners. A pilot burner is provided substantially in the center of the annular first premixed burner so that the injection slot of the pilot burner is substantially aligned with the injection slot of the first premixed burner in a longitudinal direction of the burner. A flame holder which forms a circulating flow of combusted gas Gh downstream of the flame holder is disposed at the downstream end of a boundary wall between the premixed burners so that the flame holder is co-used by the premixed burners. Flow rate adjusting means for adjusting the flow rate of fuel supplied to the first, second premixed burner and the pilot burner, respectively are provided. The fuel can be substantially uniformly mixed with a combustion gas. Reduction in NOx and stabilization of premixed flame can be achieved.

The polymer comprises recurring 4-oxybenzoyl units, 6-oxy-2-naphthoyl units, aromatic dicarboxy units, and aromatic diol units as described in appropriate concentrations. The resulting polyester exhibits excellent melt processability in combination with good mechanical properties and a good retention of properties at elevated temperatures.

摘要： Rotational speed of an electric turbocharger controlled so that the actual temperature of the motor does exceed the allowable level even over a long time span. A speed control device for the turbocharger, includes a temperature sensor, a speed limitation device which limits the speed of the motor in response to the temperature level detected by the temperature sensor wherein the speed limitation device is provided with a limit control start temperature correction device which decreases the limit control start temperature when the increase rate of the detected temperature exceeds a threshold. A speed limitation setting device sets a speed limit based on the temperature difference between the limit control start temperature and the detected temperature T on a rate of increase of the detected temperature.
