    • A touch input device is provided. The touch input device includes a touch panel and a touch control. The touch panel includes a number of touch sensor groups, each touch sensor group includes a line of touch sensors, each touch sensor produces a touch signal in response to a user's touch, the touch sensor groups are arranged on the touch panel one by one along a predetermined path, the quantity of touch sensors of each touch sensor group is increased or decreased gradually, and the arrangement direction of the touch sensors of each touch sensor group is perpendicular to the direction of the predetermined path. The touch control is connected to the touch panel and is used to receive the touch signals produced by the touch sensor, and determine a touch path according to the changes of the quantity of the received touch signals.

    • The present invention relates to a robot and a control method adapted for the robot. The robot stores audio data of stories, first relationships among the audio data, time periods, and key information of the stories, second relationships between the key information and actions, and actions. Each of the key information is assigned a time period indicating when the key information should be fetched. The method includes: a) telling a story; b) measuring time; c) fetching corresponding key information when an elapsed time reaches each time period of each of the key information; d) fetching an action according to the fetched key information; and e) performing the action.

    • A shake responsive handheld device is provided. The handheld device comprises a storage unit, a sound output, a motion sensing unit, a motions state determining unit, and a processing unit. The storage unit stores at least one media file configured for reproducing sound of tumbling dice in a dice shaker. The sound output is used for outputting sound. The motion sensing unit is used for detecting a shaking motion imparted to the housing by a user. The motions state determining unit is used for monitoring a shake level of the shaking motion according to signals from the motion sensing unit. When the at least one media file is playing, the processing unit adjusts the sound volume of the sound output unit according to the shake level determined by the motion state determining unit.
