摘要： A camera support has a pan frame pivotably attached to a support hub. The support hub is attached to a camera crane. The pan frame has first and second spaced apart and parallel adjustable length pan arms. A pan motor is attached to the pan frame and adapted to pivot the pan frame about a pan axis relative to the support hub. A tilt frame is pivotably attached to the pan frame. A tilt motor is attached to the tilt frame and to the pan frame and is adapted to pivot the tilt frame about a tilt axis perpendicular to the pan axis. The adjustable length tilt arms allow the camera head to extend to accommodate cameras requiring more vertical clearance. The adjustable length tilt arms allow the camera platform to be moved to better locate the center of gravity of the camera on the tilt axis.

摘要： Apparatus and method to allow the wheels of a camera dolly (10,30) to be quickly and easily changed by a single person. A dolly jack (50) may have a leg (60) attached to a foot (52) and pivotable relative to the foot about a first axis. A jack rod (75) is attached to the leg (60) spaced apart from the first axis. An arm (64) may be pivotally attached to the leg (60) as desired, to provide greater mechanical advantage in lifting the camera dolly. Dolly wheels may be changed by inserting the jack rod (75) into a receptacle (24) on one side of the camera dolly, with the foot (52) of the jack on the ground and with the jack leg (60) substantially in a non-vertical position. The jack leg rotated into a second position wherein the jack leg (60) is substantially vertical, with the dolly rolling slightly in the direction of the rotation. This lifts the side of the dolly sufficiently so that the front and back wheels, or wheel pairs, on the one side of the dolly are lifted off of the ground, allowing the wheels to be changed.

摘要： A camera crane includes a camera platform pivotally attached to the front end of a front section of a telescoping crane arm. A counterweight is movable along the back section. The crane arm can be attached onto an arm support at two or more different positions. Consequently the pivot axis of the arm can be shifted to the front or rear, to change rear clearance requirements, counterweight requirements, and the reach of the arm. The camera platform may be on a nose assembly having a leveling system including an electronic controller linked to a position sensor on the camera platform and to electric leveling motors. When the head moves to an out of level position, the electronic controller energizes the motors which exerts torque to return the platform to level.

The tractor has left and right side treads (44) supported on tread rollers (54) on the chassis, and a motor (46) for driving the treads. One or more wheel guide strips (50) on each of the wheel decks guides the wheels (32) of a mobile base (26) rolling onto the wheel decks.
