    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stave cooler which tis more improved in the cooling efficiency of a cooling member than heretofore and can economically be manufactured.
      SOLUTION: In the stave cooler 10, which comprises: the cooling member 12 provided with a plurality of cooling water passages 11 arranged side by side in a width direction; cooling water supplying parts 13 connected to the lower part of each cooling water passage 11; and cooling water discharging parts 14 connected to the upper part of each cooling water passage 11, and cools a furnace wall by installing the cooling member 12 at the inner surface side of the iron shell 15 in a blast furnace, each cooling water passage 11 is composed of a plurality of small-diameter water passages 16 formed by being communicated vertically and being arranged side by side in the width direction.
