The cleaning pad includes an aperture that allows the cleaning fluid to flow from the dispensing nozzle, through the aperture, and onto the surface.

In the open position, the vent places the recovery tank in fluid communication with atmosphere outside the recovery tank via the vent to facilitate drying the recovery tank. In the closed position, the vent inhibits the airflow from entering the recovery tank via the vent.
