摘要： A system and method for determining and displaying payment options in an electronic payment system is disclosed. A payee for a payor is identified. Prior to receiving a payment request to submit a payment to the payee on behalf of the payor, at least one funding method is identified from a list of potential funding methods. The at least one funding method is a funding method that is available to the payor for the payment to the payee, and the identification of the at least one funding method is based at least in part on at least one risk-based criteria. An interface screen is then generated for displaying at least one option to pay the payee, wherein the at least one option is associated with the at least one funding method.

摘要： A method and system for paying bills. A service provider receives, via a network, a request to pay a bill on behalf of a consumer. The consumer can request that any merchant be paid. The service provider searches a master database containing names of merchants to determine if the merchant the consumer has requested be paid is included in the database. If the merchant is not included in the database the service provider adds the merchant to the database. The request is processed to generate an instruction to pay the merchant.

摘要： To notify a person of the availability of electronic billing information, billing information associated with bills of a biller for its customers is stored in a first data store, and identify information identifying unregistered persons having billing information stored in the first data store, is stored in a second data store. Registration information identifying a person who is currently unregistered is received via a wide area network. The received registration information is compared with the identity information stored in the second data store. Based on the comparison, it is determined if the received registration information identifies a customer of the biller. If so, a notice of the availability of the stored billing information of the biller is transmitted to the person via the wide area network.
