摘要： In an embodiment, a system for cooling or liquefying a process gas in a motion environment, includes: (a) a separation vessel, wherein the separation vessel includes motion suppressing baffles, wherein the separation vessel separates a high pressure refrigerant stream thereby producing a vapor refrigerant stream and a liquid refrigerant stream; (b) a vapor liquid refrigerant pipe for delivering the liquid refrigerant stream from the separation vessel to an external heat exchanger core; (c) at least one external heat exchanger core, wherein the external heat exchanger core is external to a kettle, wherein the liquid refrigerant stream and a warmer process stream undergo indirect heat exchange in the external heat exchanger core thereby producing a cooled process stream and a vaporized refrigerant stream.

摘要： A natural gas liquefaction process comprises passing natural gas through a series of heat exchangers (150, 151, 153) in countercurrent relationship with a gaseous refrigerant circulated through work expansion cycle. The work expansion cycle comprises compressing the refrigerant, dividing and cooling the refrigerant to produce at least first and second cooled refrigerant streams (126, 128), substantially isentropically expanding the first refrigerant stream (126) to a coolest refrigerant temperature, substantially isentropically expanding the second refrigerant stream (128) to an intermediate refrigerant temperature warmer than said coolest refrigerant temperature, and delivering the refrigerant in the first and second refrigerant streams (126, 128) to a respective heat exchanger (153, 151) for cooling the natural gas through corresponding temperature ranges. The refrigerant in the first stream (126) is isentropically expanded to a pressure at least 10 times greater than the total pressure drop of the first refrigerant stream across said series of heat exchangers (150, 151, 153), said pressure being in the range of 1.2 to 2.5 MPa.

摘要： Disclosed is a system for reducing a heating value of natural gas. The system includes a heat exchanger to liquefy a portion of components having high heating values, a gas-liquid separator to separate the liquefied component, and a nitrogen adding mechanism to add nitrogen to remaining non-liquefied components. The system includes an additional heat exchanger to cool and liquefy the remaining non-liquefied components after the gas-liquid separator separates the liquefied component from the natural gas. The heat exchangers employ cold heat generated upon regasification of LNG. The system can reduce the heating value of natural gas composed of a variety of hydrocarbon components according to requirements of a place of demand by separating the component with the higher heating value from the natural gas to allow the separated component to be used as fuel, thereby reducing an overall size and operating costs of the system.

摘要： A method, system and production and storage facility is disclosed for offshore LPG and LNG processing of associated gases. The system includes a first production facility and a second production and storage facility. The first facility receives and processes produced fluids to produce crude oil, water and rich associated gases. The second facility includes a gas treatment unit for processing the rich associated gases to remove contaminants and produce a treated gas stream of hydrocarbons. The second facility also has at least one LPG and/or LNG production unit for producing one of LPG and/or LNG from the treated gas stream. At least one storage tank on the second facility stores at least one of the LPG and/or LNG. The second production facility may be a retrofit LNG or LPG carrier. The treatment unit, LPG and/or LNG production and needed offloading facilities and equipment can be added to the LNG/LPG carrier. Existing storage tanks can be modified as needed or else new storage tanks can also be added.
