摘要： Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, Werkstoffe, welche Kohlenstoffnanoteilchen enthalten, für Bauteile zu verwenden, von denen neue komplexe Kombinationen von Eigenschaften sowie von statischer und dynamischer Belastbarkeit unterschiedlichen Charakters gefordert werden. Diese Aufgabe wird für die Gruppe der genannten Werkstoffe durch Verwendungen gelöst, für welche mindestens zwei der nachfolgend aufgeführten Eigenschaften oder Anforderungen maßgeblich sind: - Bearbeitbarkeit von Funktionsflächen in hoher Oberflächenqualität, - chemische Resistenz insbesondere bei hohen Einsatztemperaturen, - Korrosionsbeständigkeit insbesondere bei hohen Einsatztemperaturen, - Verschleißfestigkeit insbesondere bei hohen Einsatztemperaturen, - Verschleissfestigkeit unter elektrischer und/oder Strahlenbelastung, - geringer Reibungskoeffizient insbesondere bei hohen Einsatztemperaturen, - gute Wärmeleitfähigkeit sowie - einstellbare stoffliche Zusammensetzung zur Erzielung bestimmter physikalischer Eigenschaften. Diese Erfindung ist beispielsweise für Presswerkzeuge, Umformeinrichtungen, Lagerteile, Gusseinrichtungen, heat sinks und dergleichen insbesondere bei hohen Temperaturen anwendbar, ohne darauf beschränkt zu sein.

摘要： The invention relates to plain thrust bearings, wherein one working surface of which is made of siliconized graphite (or other antifriction material with similar characteristics) and can be used in assemblies of electrical machines and hydraulic machines having thrust bearings of a large size (with a diameter up to 900 mm), preferably electric motors driving a main circulation pump assembly (MCPA) of reactor assemblies, for example, in nuclear power plants. The plain thrust bearing comprises interleaving bearing bands and slots on the side facing to a set of sector. The bearing disk is provided with mounting surfaces, wherein external and internal rings securing the sectors made of antifriction material through elastic elements are mounted on the mounting surfaces. The sectors are fixed to deter them from rotation relative the bearing ring by intermediate bars arranged between the sectors, wherein the bars are fixed by inserting their pins into the openings in the bearing disk. The sectors made of antifriction material are provided with steps for the external and internal rings, wherein upper parts of the sectors are provided with roundings and lower parts of the sectors are provided with slots for mutual axial fixation. A sector's lead-in edge is shaped approximately as a parabolic curve. Cooling and lubricating is carried out through interleaving channels formed by the bars, the sectors, the external and the internal rings.

摘要： An air bearing assembly supporting a turbine driven rotatable motor shaft is provided. The assembly includes a composite cylindrical air bearing having alternating, bonded segmented porous carbon sections and nonporous carbon sections. The composite bearing has a sleeve installed circumferentially therearound. The sleeve has openings therein, therethrough and therearound such that the openings are adjacent the porous carbon sections and are oriented so as to be in longitudinal and circumferential registry with the porous carbon sections. Air passageways deliver supplied air into and through the sleeve openings, thence into and through the porous sections, thereby providing frictionless support for the rotating shaft. The assembly includes “O”-rings installed circumferentially therearound, one at each end of the assembly. A specific embodiment, namely a rotary bell cup atomizer driven by a turbine mounted on a rotatable motor shaft supported by the air bearing assembly, is disclosed and claimed.

摘要： The invention is a composite polycrystalline diamond compact comprising at least one layer of diamond crystals and precemented carbide pieces which have been pressed under sufficient heat and pressure to create composite polycrystalline material wherein polycrystalline diamond and the precemented carbide pieces are interspersed in one another. Preferably, this composite material layer is disposed as a transition layer between the layer including the working surface of the compact and the substrate for the compact. In addition, the layer including the working surface may also be comprised of the composite material, with the general requirement that the volume percent of the polycrystalline diamond component in the layer including the working surface be higher than in the transition layer. Alternatively, the compact, rather than being divided into discrete layers, instead comprises a single layer of this composite material wherein the concentration of the polycrystalline diamond component is at its highest at the working surface of the compact and then decreases in the direction away from the working surface.
