    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor with a highly rigid scroll member light in weight at a low cost. SOLUTION: This scroll compressor is configured by mutually combining a fixed scroll and a turning scroll with a spiral lap 102 formed upright on a base plate 101. A scroll member forming the fixed scroll or the turning scroll is composed of an inner layer member 601 as a core and an outer layer member 600 provided to surround the inner layer member and forming an outer layer portion. The inner layer member is made of material having a larger elastic modulus than that of the outer layer member, and also separation prevention sections (irregular portions 603, recesses 604 or holes 605) are formed in the inner layer member so that the inner layer member and outer layer member are prevented from being separated from each other by the difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion.
