摘要： For the purposes of vibration damping in the drive system of a vehicle fitted with a regulating system (ABS, ASR, etc.), circumferential rotary vibrations in the wheels are detected by evaluating the rotational behaviour of the individual wheels. The rotary vibrations are damped by injecting the braking pressure or modulating the braking pressure injected to limit the slip in the individual wheel brakes depending on the amplitude and phase relation of the rotary vibrations.

摘要： The object of the system of the invention is the ''modal'' variant of sky-hook damping. The essential advantage of this variant over the local version is that the natural vibration forms can be individually damped. In addition, a defined rolling movement distribution can be set. To this end signals are found which represent the local bodyshell movements of the vehicle at selected points. Conclusions on the rising, rolling and pitching movements can be reached from these signals. These movements are given different weightings depending on the driving man÷uvres. Certain components of the bodyshell movement can be deliberately affected by controlling the damping system dependently upon the weighted rising, rolling and pitching movements.

摘要： A direct acting hydraulic damper (20) comprising an internal, non-contact sensing means for the direct measurement of relative velocity between the piston (44) and the cylinder (40) of the damper (20). The damper (20) comprising a cylinder (40) forming a working chamber (42) operable to store damping fluid. A piston (44) is disposed within the cylinder (40) defining an upper and lower portion of the working chamber (42). The damper (20) further comprises a first transducer (66) for emitting ultrasonic waves within the lower portion of the working chamber (42). The ultrasonic waves emitted by the first transducer (66) are reflected by a base valve (52) or end surface of the cylinder (40) facing the transducers (66, 68) and are received by a second transducer (68). A frequency detection circuit (82) determines the difference in frequency between the emitted and reflected ultrasonic waves and generates an output in response thereto. A computer (90) then calculates the relative velocity of the piston (44) with respect to the base valve (52) or end surface, based on the Doppler principle. The velocity signal (V) is then used for automatic control of suspension parameters according to predefined algorithm.

摘要： Using signals (Vi) representing the vertical motion of the vehicle body at selected points (Pi) on the body and second signals (Xarvl', Xarvr', Xarhl', Xarhr') representing the relative motion of the wheel units with respect to the body, the system proposed by the invention enables conclusions to be drawn concerning selected vehicle-body motion components, such as lift, roll and pitch, the vertical motion of the body at the front and rear axles, or the roll motion. These motion components are weighted differently. Using these differently weighted motion components, conclusions are drawn concerning second body motions at those points as which the wheel-suspension systems act on the body. By comparing the second body motions (Vagvl, Vagvr, Vaghl, Vaghr) with the associated relative motion of the wheel units with respect to the body, control signals are generated for the suspension system concerned in such a way that the selected motion components can be influenced independently of each other to give a reduction in motion.

摘要： The invention relates to a suspension for vehicles in which the front and rear wheel sets comprise means for transmitting the forces exerted on one of the wheels to the other three wheels. These means consist of hydraulic assemblies (5a, 6a, 5b, 6b, 5c, 6c, 5d, 6d), two per wheel, which are interconnected in such a manner that the wheels, namely two wheels in the same set and the front and rear wheels on the same side, are mutually balanced. The suspension is characterized in that the connection between the wheels is obtained by means of four distinct transfer circuits (25a, 26a, 25b, 26b, 25c, 26c, 25d, 26d) which connect the wheels in pairs. A pivoting lever (9, 10, 11, 12) which pivots about an axis (13, 14, 15, 16) is interposed on each of said transfer circuits. Each end (9a, 9b, 10c, 10d, 11a, 11c, 12b, 12d) of the pivoting levers is acted on by a system (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d), (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d) which forms a spring (and possibly a shock absorber) and which is acted on by said transfer circuits.

摘要： A vehicle control device, which is provided with an acceleration detecting sensor to detect the amount of acceleration acting on the vehicle and, after removal of a low frequency component of acceleration signals output from the acceleration sensor, to exercise control over objects to be controlled on the vehicle with the use of the acceleration signals, reduces an influence of acceleration signals upon control when a state that acceleration is acting on the vehicle at a fixed rate changes to another state that said acceleration vanishes, that is, a state that the vehicle is in halt while tilting changes to that the vehicle is ready to start or a state that the vehicle is turning in normal way changes to that the vehicle runs straight. In this way, when errors occur in the acceleration signals after removal of the low frequency component with the change of the state of the vehicle, influence of the acceleration signals upon control over the vehicle can be reduced with said change of the state detected. Thus, control over the vehicle caused by erroneous acceleration signal can be prevented, thereby control satisfactory in practice being possible.
