摘要： A process for separating a component mixture comprising essentially hydrocarbons having two or two or more carbon atoms, methane and hydrogen using a distillation apparatus (10) is proposed. Fluid (a, c, e, g, i) from the component mixture is cooled stepwise to a first pressure level, with separation of first condensates (b, d, f, h, j) out of the fluid (a, c, e, g, i) in each case. Fluid (k) from the component mixture that remains in gaseous form thereafter is expanded to a second pressure level in an expander, giving a second condensate (l). Fluid from the first condensates (b, d, f, h, j) is expanded from the first pressure level to the second pressure level and fed together with the fluid from the second condensates into the distillation apparatus (10) which is being operated at the second pressure level. The present invention likewise provides a corresponding separation apparatus.

摘要： In a fluid catalytic cracking process, catalyst migration through the vapor line from a reactor to a distillation column is controlled. Catalyst migration is controlled by detection, isolation, and removal of catalyst from the vapor line before entering the distillation column. Upon detection of a predetermined amount of catalyst in the vapor line, a signal is generated to close the valves in the vapor line, the catalyst feedstock line, and the regenerator/reactor line substantially simultaneously. Further, the distillation column can be isolated from the reactor for blind installation.

摘要： The invention relates to a process for separating a multi-component feed mixture in a distillation system comprising a first distillation column having a first fired reboiler, and at least a second distillation column having a second heat-exchange reboiler, comprising the steps of a) introducing the feed mixture to the first column, and separating into at least a first top and a first bottom product; b) taking part of the first bottom product for providing heat to the second reboiler as a utility stream; and c) feeding part of said utility stream after heat-exchange as main feed to the second column for further separation. This process allows significant energy savings, by reduction of the amount of external heat required for the fired reboiler and omission of a conventionally used heat-exhanger. The invention also relates to such distillation system suitable for separating a multi-component mixture with the process of the invention.
