The leg sheets include notches 6LC and 6RC from the outer side edge to the inner part respectively. The outer side edge areas 6LOF and 6ROF of the leg sheets respectively adjacent to the abdominal side start ends 6LCF and 6RCF of the notches and the outer side edge areas 6LOB and 6ROB of the leg sheets respectively adjacent to the back side start ends 6LCB and 6RCB of the notches are joined with each other, and thus a pair of leg openings are defined.

摘要： A panty type diaper comprising belt type pre-girth parts (4, 4’) located vertically, and a belt type precrotch part (5) located between the pre-girth parts and provided with substantially V-shaped recesses (6) in the front and rear body sides, respectively. An absorber is disposed in a substantially rectangular panty type diaper precursor (1) where pre-leg openings (7) are made, as substantially egg shaped holes, from the pre-crotch part (5) across the pre-girth parts (4, 4’) at positions symmetric with respect to the line symmetric axis of the precursor (1). 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shorts type diaper which has no joined part in right and left bodies in the waist area, thus eliminating an uncomfortable feeling around legs and improving wear properties, and which is also excellent in productivity and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.
SOLUTION: A precursor 1 of the shorts type diaper is formed in the shape of a rectangle substantially and composed of belt-shaped pre-waist portions 4 and 4' located on the upper and lower sides thereof and a belt-shaped pre-crotch portion 5 located between these waist portions and having almost V-shaped indented parts 6 formed on the sides to be made into the front body side and the back body side respectively. Besides, pre-leg-opening portions 7 are formed at positions symmetrical about the axis of line symmetry of the precursor 1, as almost oval holes stretching from the pre-crotch portion 5 to the pre-waist portions 4 and 4' respectively. This precursor 1 is folded vertically at the center line X-X (the axis of line symmetry of the precursor) so that the waist portions 4 and 4' and the crotch portion 5 are put on each other respectively, and the end edges 4a and 4a' and 5a are joined together so that a waist opening is formed. Thereby the shorts type diaper is formed. According to this constitution, the jointed parts 11 and 11' are formed in the front and back bodies respectively.
