摘要： A device for decorative purposes, for the vertical cultivation of plants, includes: i) a cultivation support containing a cultivation substrate, and having holes on the front face thereof for the opening out of the above-ground part of the plants, ii) a rigid frame extending in a substantially vertical plane, defining a window in the front face of the cultivation support, and iii) a water reservoir, the cultivation support being placed over the water reservoir, and including at least one hydrophilic wick extending from the cultivation substrate to the water reservoir tank. The cultivation support is hydrated by a continuous supply of water by one or more hydrophilic wicks immersed in the reservoir. It may include an internal framework to give it rigidity and to prevent settling of the substrate in the lower part of the support. A method for obtaining such a plant box is also claimed.

A mounted bottom edge picture achieves a depth of the field and a wrap-around effect. A floating picture, which is preferably a self trimmed composite picture for bearing a customer's image, obtained without manual trimming process, is displayed in front of and spaced apart from the background picture. A created arch-shaped void space in this frame can house one or more magnetically held 3D arts therein. A toy platform can be installed to turn the 3D picture frame into a play-and-display station. An animated 3D art with a built-in insert will add “live” to the 3D framed display. All above contents can be mounted or removed without taking down the frame body from the wall.

The container has an elevated ridge about its side and lower surfaces permitting easy manipulation thereof and reducing the area of contact between the container and the frame thereby eliminating potential water damage. Decorative fabric coverings joined to the frontal portions of the upright panels provide a floral arrangement with the appearance, to the casual observer, that such is floating or hovering before the display without any apparent means of attachment.

摘要： In a picture frame vase, a picture frame surrounds a board made of attractive material, and the board has a rectangular opening below a center. A water pocket is mounted on the back of the board just below the rectangular opening, so that stems of flowers may be inserted through the rectangular opening and into the water pocket. The narrow pocket holds the stems inward so that the flowers, standing upright, generally lie along the face of the board. The frame in a preferred embodiment is made with sufficient depth so that the frame, and not the water pocket, contacts the wall. The size of the frame and size and shape and position of the opening are variable, and the water pocket size, shape and position are changeable. One frame, face, board and pocket are a completely molded one-piece unit. A frame has a mirror finish to enhance the appearance of the device when it supports flowers.
