    • Aufbewahrungsbehälter für Rasierklingeneinheiten, welche eine an einer Längsseite einer Schneide aufweisende Klinge sowie eine an der Klinge auf beiden Flachseiten anliegende streifenförmige Klingehalteelmentanordnung von längs der Seite gleichbleibendem Querschnitt umfaßt, mit der die Klinge der Länge nach in einem im Querschnitt im wesentlichen U-förmigen Klingenhalter einschiebbar ist, so daß die Klinge aus der offenen Seite des "U" hervopsteht, wobei der Aufbewahrungsbehälter (20) mindestens ein schmales, in seiner Höhe die Breite der Rasierklinge in Einheit (4) geringfügig unterschreitendes, an einem Ende offenes Fach (17) aufweist, in welches die Rasierklingeneinheit (4) auf ihrer ganzen Länge hochkant einbringbar ist, welches seitlich einen geringen Abstand zu der Rasierklingeneinheit (4) beläßt und welches auf der einem Schmalseite durch geschäumtes Polystyrol oder ein ähnliches Material leichter, jedoch fester Konsistenz begrenzt ist.
      Der Klingenhalter (2) eines Rasier- und Haarschneidegerätes (10) kann vom offenen Ende des Faches (17) auf die darin befindliche Rasierklingeneinheit (4) aufgeschoben werden. Beim Zurückziehvorgang wird die Schneidkante (11) der Länge nach an dem geschäumten Polystyrol oder ähnlichem Material vorbeigeführt, wodurch eine eventuelle Schutzschicht von der Schneidekannte (11) entfernt wird.

    • A device for storing shaving razor blades in a manner which prolongs usability includes containment for storing cleaned razor blades and for storing a razor handle. The interior of the housing compartment comprises a reservoir configured for retaining a volume of a cleaning and preserving solution. After shaving, a user detaches the razor blade from the handle and places it within a blade cleaning assembly which provides a means to submerge the blade into the solution. The razor blade is then retrieved for subsequent shaving. The device also provides a removable blade cartridge being especially useful for storing clean blades while traveling.

    • A shaving/cutting device with directly deposited (formed) razor structures without the use of intermediate adhesives. The device is in the form of a substantially flat substrate with miniature razors that have been directly deposited and formed onto the surface of the substrate. The substrate is of a rigid or flexible nature. The substrate is substantially thin and is therefore flexible and its shape is rectangular, circular or oval in nature. The razors are substantially deposited in plurality as an array formation onto the surface of the substrate. In most cases the razor array formation is in the form of parallel, curved and concentric nature. Flat mesa structures that are substantially the same height as the razor structures are incorporated in the razor array formations. The methods of manufacturing one or more directly deposited razor structures and mesa structures is disclosed.

    • A blade dispenser assembly includes a housing and an integrally formed shuttle mechanism which functions to dispense one blade at a time from the bottom of a stack of blades held within the housing. The shuttle mechanism is configured to engage a bottommost blade in the stack when in a closed position and to carry the engaged blade with it when the shuttle mechanism is moved to an opened position. In the opened position, the shuttle mechanism is partially extended from the housing and securely holds and displays the withdrawn blade. An exemplary preferred shuttle mechanism is pivotally coupled to the housing and includes an arm portion that allows a person to pivot the shuttle mechanism away from the housing while keeping the person's hand safely away from the blade being withdrawn. The blade dispenser assembly also includes a follower mechanism that is positioned adjacent the top of the stack of blades and mechanically coupled to the housing such that it descends with the stack of blades as successive blades are withdrawn from the bottom of the stack and such that it retains its position relative to the housing when the assembly is turned upside down, thereby functioning as a one-way ratchet that prevents the stack of blades from falling away from the shuttle mechanism.
