A control piston reciprocates inside the mixing chamber between a recirculation position where the feed and recirculation lines are in fluid communication and a mixing position where the components impinge and mix in the mixing chamber. At least one component has a straight line recirculation path from its feed to return line through a radial slot in the control piston. A bypass line branches off from at least one feed line and opens into the mixing chamber at a mixing input duct in the same radial plane as a mixing input duct for a second component.

    • An end damper is used with a motor vehicle frame, a wheel vertically displaceable adjacent the frame, and a vertically compressible shock absorber having an upper part secured to the frame and a lower part secured to the wheel. The absorber is vertically compressible with upward travel of the lower part. The end damper is carried on the frame above the lower part and comprises a housing defining a chamber, a body of liquid in the chamber, an upper sleeve in the chamber and connected to the frame, and a lower sleeve vertically telescopable with the upper sleeve between an upper position and a lower position, subdividing the chamber with the upper sleeve into a pair of compartments communicating through the gap, and defining with the upper sleeve an annular passage communicating between the compartments and of substantially greater length in the upper position than in the lower position. A spring braced between the sleeves urges the lower sleeve into the lower position. A conduit extends between the compartments and a check valve in the conduit permits flow through the conduit on travel of the lower sleeve from the upper to the lower position.

    • A track structure for a tracked vehicle especially a tank, comprises a track whose tread links are joined in the continuous chain by intermediate links such that the tread links have a spacing x from one another. The tread chain passes around running-wheel assemblies supporting the chassis of the vehicle, each assembly having a pair of rollers journaled adjacent one another at horizontally spaced axes such that the spacing X of the two rollers of each assembly from one another is equal to 1x to 1.5x, inclusive. This reduces shock transmission to the vehicle as the flat links pass around the roller assemblies.
