Hereby, good access may be provided along the entire length without creating a pump effect by operating the lids (10a, 10b). In addition, good visual access is provided for easy examination of the contents of the merchandising unit (1), since the cover according to the invention provides for the possibility of simultaneous opening of a large percentage of the total top of the merchandising unit (1).
