摘要： An optical image stabilizer for a camera lens module, including a housing fixed to a case of the camera lens module, at least one piezoelectric actuator fixed to the housing, and an image sensor assembly housed in the housing. A driving tip of the piezoelectric actuator is curved in shape and makes a point contact with the image sensor assembly. If the piezoelectric actuator is driven, the image sensor assembly freely moves on a plane perpendicular to a photographing direction as the driving tip rubs against the image sensor assembly. This optical image stabilizer is simple in structure and easy to control, so it can be mounted in devices in which installation spaces are limited, like small digital cameras and mobile terminals.

摘要： An auto focus (AF) apparatus and method for a camera that improves the AF action by reducing the number of time and steps required of a conventional apparatus and method. An encoder initial value is detected by measuring an initial position of a lens unit by means of an encoder; matching the measured encoder initial value to an initial position value to which the lens unit is to move while performing the auto focus; performing the auto focus starting from the matched initial position value, and dividing a distance that the lens unit is to cover into sections corresponding to a preset number of steps; detecting an edge value which shows a brightness change for a contour of a subject for as many as the number of the preset steps. The AF is completed by moving the lens unit to a position corresponding to a maximum edge value selected from among the detected edge values.

The optical image stabilizer includes a base frame, a first frame on the base frame capable of moving in a first direction, a second frame on the first frame capable of moving in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The second frame is equipped on one side with an image sensor. The optical image stabilizer also includes a linear motor provided between the base frame and the first frame to move the first frame in the first direction, and a voice coil motor (VCM) for moving the second frame in the second direction. The linear motor and the VCM are disposed adjacently to each other.

摘要： An optical image stabilizer for correcting an image blurred by shaking of a hand while an object is photographed using a mobile communication terminal is provided. The optical image stabilizer includes an image sensor. A lens assembly is mounted on an optical axis of the image sensor. A housing contains the lens assembly. A rotator provided between the housing and the lens assembly surrounding the lens assembly rotates the lens assembly around a first axis perpendicular to the optical axis and a second axis perpendicular to the first axis in engagement with the lens assembly. A driving member rotates the rotator around the first and second axes. The optical image stabilizer can be mounted in a miniaturized lightweight photographing device, so that a clear image can be captured even during vibration of a photographing device caused by hand-shaking.
