    • A fast reactor including a reactivity control assembly including a reactor shutdown rod and neutron absorbers, a reactor shutdown rod drive mechanism, and units of neutron absorber drive mechanism. The reactor shutdown rod drive mechanism causes an inner extension tube to fall and release the reactor shutdown rod by a gripper section by turning off the power supply to a holding magnet at the time of scram. When grasping the neutron absorbers, an outer extension shaft is pulled up to allow both of the extension shafts to be inserted. After the outer extension tube gets to a handling head section of the neutron absorber, the outer extension shaft is pushed down to grasp the neutron absorber externally by latch fingers of the gripper section so that the neutron absorber can be moved up and down.

    • A separator has a concavo-convex structure formed in mutually reversed shapes on two opposite sides thereof to define flow paths of different fluids on the respective two sides. The concavo-convex structure includes multiple first projections formed and protruded on one side of the two opposite sides and arranged at intervals having a preset regularity. The concavo-convex structure also includes multiple second projections formed and protruded on the other side of the two opposite sides in a specific area corresponding to an area for formation of the multiple first projections on the one side and arranged at intervals having a preset regularity. The concavo-convex structure further includes reinforcing elements protruded on the one side. Each of the reinforcing elements is formed as a convex in a specific shape of connecting multiple positions where the first projections are expected to be formed according to the preset regularity, while avoiding positions corresponding to the second projections formed on the other side. This arrangement effectively prevents a potential trouble caused by deformation of the separator due to a pressure difference between the flow pressures of the respective fluids flowing on the respective sides of the separator.

    • A graphical user interface (GUI) renderable on a television display. The GUI includes a plurality of selectable media categories, wherein the plurality of selectable media categories includes at least one selectable media item. The plurality of selectable media categories may include a photo media category and a music media category. The GUI further includes a workspace window comprising sections, wherein each section is associated with one of the plurality of selectable categories, and wherein the workspace window responsive to a user selecting a media item renders a graphical representation of the user selected media item in its corresponding section. Moreover, the GUI includes a preview window, wherein the preview window graphically displays a content of the user selected media item, wherein the preview occurs automatically and immediately after the user selected media item. Thus, changes as they occur can be viewed without the need to exit the edit mode.
