The terminal box 1 includes: an elastic piece 2 on an upper wall 1a; and the tab support section 3 on a lower wall 1b. The elastic piece 2 is extended from a front edge to the back of the lower wall 1b forming the insertion port, and has an indent 2a at the pointed head section. The tab support section 3 is a trapezoid swelled toward the inside of the terminal box 1 by compressing the inside of the upper wall 1a from the lower wall 1b side. The mating tab inserted from the insertion port to the terminal box 1 is sandwiched by the indent 2a of the elastic piece 2 and the tab support section 3.
