摘要： An implant, in particular an intervertebral prosthesis, which consists of an elongated elastic body which is form-elastic and takes on the form of a spiral S in the force free state. The spiral can be drawn by a reverse winding up into an insertion instrument which is only insubstantially larger in the insertion region than the cross-section of the elongated elastic body in order to reach the inner space of an intervertebral disc through a small opening in the annulus fibrosus and to push in and sever off the self winding spiral when the interior is filled. This has the advantage that inner spaces of differing sizes can be filled with the same spiral.

摘要： The pull-through appliance is made of a mesh structure formed of at least one continuous thread and a pullout thread disposed at one end of the mesh structure to prevent unraveling of the mesh structure. A hollow tube is used to facilitate drawing in of the synthetic strand and autologous strand of the prosthesis. After removal of the hollow member, the resulting package can be readily threaded through a bore in a bone. After implantation, the pull-out thread is removed and the mesh structure unraveled so as to remove the mesh structure from within the bone.

An elastic rod element inserted therein in the seat recess, which element serves to stabilize a vertebral column, is held in a form-locking way. The closure cap of the closure device has the function of a cross-brace, and can transfer the forces absorbed by it from the rod element to the pedicle screw. Disposed on the closure cap with a holding recess are engagement elements which, during insertion of the closure cap, automatically lock in place in a stable position in the seat element provided with a U-shaped seat recess. The seat recess and the holding recess preferably have a ridged or grooved structure corresponding to the rod element used.
