摘要： A computer-implemented method of interactive learning, a system and a computer-readable medium therefor are disclosed. The computer include a processor, a memory, a storage device, a display device for displaying information to a user, an audio device for communicating audio information to the user, and an input device for receiving information and commands from the user. The computer provides an interactive learning environment. The method includes presenting a structured curriculum to a user via the display device. The structured curriculum includes a linear progression of educational topics divided into a plurality of levels. Each of the plurality of levels represents a specific topic of educational content. Each of the plurality of levels is further divided into the plurality of lessons. The method also includes presenting a lesson to the user via the display device in a current mode selected from a plurality of modes. Each of the plurality of lessons represents a sub portion of the specific topic of the educational content and each of the plurality of modes includes specific challenges to accomplish. The method further includes receiving feedback from the user via the input device in an interactive manner until a challenge associated with the current mode is accomplished and advancing to a subsequent mode when the challenge of the current mode is accomplished by the user.

More particularly methods and devices for identifying RSA waves during respiration which provide a subject with realtime RSA wave information are provided. Such methods and devices provide subjects with the ability to maintain parasympathetic outflow and thereby prevent and/or reduce levels of stress.

The medical navigation system includes a computing device having a processor coupled to a memory, a wireless communication component and a display for displaying an image. The medical navigation system further includes a sensor module attached to a medical device. The sensor module includes a housing for housing components of the sensor module and for attaching to the medical device, a processor housed in the housing, a memory coupled to the processor, a wireless communication component coupled to the processor, a battery coupled to the processor, and a sensor coupled to the processor. The sensor generates a signal to be transmitted wirelessly via the sensor module wireless communication component and receivable by the computing device wireless communication component, the signal representing movement of the medical device.

摘要： Systems, methods and devices are provided for intraoperatively confirming location of tissue structures during medical procedures. Preoperative image data of a patient's skeletal structure in a vicinity of an anatomical part undergoing a medical procedure is acquired. During the procedure, after exposing tissue intraoperative image data is acquired by scanning a selected region of tissue, in a vicinity of the skeletal structure using Polarization Sensitive-Optical Coherence Tomography (PS-OCT). Regions of tissue exhibiting structural organization in the vicinity of the skeletal structure are identified from the intraoperative (PS-OCT) image data. Geometrically correlating and registering the intraoperative (PS-OCT) image data with the preoperative image data of the skeletal structure in the vicinity of the anatomical part is then performed using a priori known anatomical information about the regions of tissue exhibiting structural information.

摘要： Systems and methods are provided in which devices that are employed during a medical procedure are adaptively configured during the medical procedure, based on input or feedback that is associated with the current state, phase or context of the medical procedure. In some example embodiments, the input is obtained via the identification of one or more medical instruments present within a region of interest, and this input may be employed to determine configuration parameters for configuring the device. In other example embodiments, the input may be based on the image-based detection of a measure associated with the phase or context of the medical procedure, and this input may be employed to adaptively control the device based on the inferred context or phase of the medical procedure. In other embodiments, images from one imaging modality may be employed to adaptively switch to another imaging modality.
