    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve safety by including a power receiving unit having a power receiving part applied with high voltage and by detachably installing the power receiving unit to a refrigerator body.SOLUTION: In a refrigerator, an atomizing unit of an electrostatic atomization device having a mist discharging part applied with high voltage is installed detachably to a unit receiving part of the refrigerator body. The refrigerator includes, as a power shut-off detection means for shutting off the supply of electric power to the mist discharging part, a door switch 10 detecting open and close of a door of the refrigerator, a lid switch 62 detecting open and close of a receiving part lid of the unit receiving part, a set switch 61 detecting a set state of the atomizing unit, and magnetic sensors 83, 84 of a water detection means detecting presence or absence of water of a water storage tank in the atomizing unit. A control device 90 shuts off the supply of electric power to the mist discharging part based on detection signals of the door switch 10, lid switch 62, set switch 61 and magnetic sensors 83, 84.
