摘要： PURPOSE:To easily change a character-string on the panel and easily prepare a foreign character pattern, by adding a selective circuit and a change-over switch to the character input unit so that the unit has two kinds of functions such as a character code input function and a co-ordinate position input function. CONSTITUTION:A microswitch is incorporated in the indicating pen 2 for indicating a character on the character panel surface 1, and when the panel surface 1 has been pushed, a magnetism detection conductive loop is generated, and a co-ordinate position signal is generated in the output terminals 10-12 of the conductive loop in accordance with the indication area A-D by said loop. This position signal is amplified by the X co-ordinate and Y co-ordinate amplifier 3, 4, respectively, and after that, the co-ordinate position information is output by the co-ordinate position detector 5. This position information is provided to the character code transducer 6, a character coce corresponding to the co-ordinate position is generated, and it is provided to the selective circuit 7 which is controlled by the change-over switch 8. And, the input unit is made to have both the character code input function and the co-ordinate position input function, and it is made easy to change a character-string on the panel surface, and prepare a foreign character pattern, etc.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent information from being printed out on a different form set by mistake, by providing a print position detecting function to a printer with a cutform device. CONSTITUTION:In the insertion direction and orthogonal direction of form 11 set in cutform device 20, print position detectors 10 consisting of couples of light emitting source and photodetectors are added in a line. Then, detectors 10 are scanned synchronizing with the movement of the form in insertion to detect whether a character is applied there or not. In addition, this result is transferred to applied-character position holding circuit 41 in control part 40 and all positions of characters applied onto form 1 are held. Consequently, if a different form is set by mistake, a check on whether the print position agree with the print position analyzed by computer 50 or not is made and a form setting error is judged when the processing result of computer 50 is outputted, so that printing on the different form can be prevented.

When a print key is fed trhough the tablet 1, the registration items stored in the part 6 are read out to a printing part 7 to be edited again into a layout of register. The edited registration items are delivered to a Chinese character printer 8 and printed on a registration sheet.

When an input item is specified on a tablet 16, the input item is specified by the position output of the tablet 16 and the sheet number, thereby inputting the item.
