摘要： A technique for controlling a play-out of a media data stream at a receiving device is provided. The media data stream comprises one or more programs, and each program comprises one or more program components. In a method implementation of the technique, a zone description is defined. The zone description is defined for a media zone for at least one program or at least one program component in the media stream and identifies the media zone for the at least one program or the at least one program component. In a next step, the zone description is associated to a program specific information data segment. The program specific information data segment is part of the media stream and comprises data specifying information at least regarding to the at least one program or at least one program component. The method also comprises transmitting the media data stream towards the receiving device.

摘要： The invention provides a solution for synchronizing cameras connected via a telecommunication network for capturing a multi-view session controlled by a synchronization module. The synchronization module provides a multi-view capturing parameter determined from capturing parameter received from the at least one camera. Said multi-view capturing parameter is provided to the cameras participating in the session capturing in order to synchronize the capturing of the multi-view session. Further a camera device is proposed which inform the synchronization module about its disposability and about the capturing parameter of the camera. It is proposed to detect data packet losses in the media data, and to determine data frames, like P-frames or I-frames, within a group of successive frames, like the GOP structure, affected by a packet loss. The number of the affected data frames is compared with a threshold value and if said number is equal or higher then the threshold value, then it is proposed to drop the affected data frames and to provide for playing-out data frames in form of a slide show.

摘要： Synchronizing cameras, connected via a telecommunication network, for capturing a multi-view session can be controlled by a synchronization module. The synchronization module determines a multi-view capturing parameter from a capturing parameter that is received from at least one camera. The multi-view capturing parameter is provided by the synchronization module to the cameras participating in the capturing session in order to synchronize the capturing of the multi-view session. Further, a camera device informs the synchronization module of the disposability and capturing parameter of the camera. The camera receives the multi-view capturing parameter for use in capturing the session.
