摘要： This invention provides a mobile communication system which expanded the operation limitation of the heretofore adopted mobile communication systems and improved the spectrum efficiency greatly. A data transmission method for use in the mobile communication system of the present invention includes means for channel pluralizing by which to expand the Shannon limit and means for interference reduction by which to expand the interference limit. More specifically, a transmitting module comprises M units of modulators and L units of transmitting antennas, generates L units of signals by multiplying M units of modulated signals by a complex matrix consisting of M×L units of elements, and transmits the L units of signals from the L units of transmitting antennas.

摘要： A method, system, and apparatus are provided for detecting a position of a terminal in a network accurately without a GPS receiver. In one example, a method for locating a position of a terminal includes calculating a position of a base station; detecting a clock time difference between the base station and another base station; measuring a reception timing of a signal received by the base station from the terminal; and locating the position of the terminal using at least the position of the base station, the clock time difference, and the reception timing.

The system includes a base station and a mobile station for communicating with the base station. The mobile station includes an oscillator, a radio frequency demodulator for demodulating a radio frequency band signal received from the base station by use of a first signal from the oscillator, a radio frequency modulator for modulating a second signal to be transmitted by use of the first signal from the oscillator, and an antenna for receiving the radio frequency band signal transmitted from the base station, and for transmitting the modulated second signal to the base station. An oscillation frequency of the oscillator is controlled by use of a change of phase shift detected using the demodulated radio frequency band signal received from the base station.

摘要： In order to accomplish efficient communication of data between a base station and a plurality of mobile terminals, particular orthogonal codes are transmitted from the mobile stations to the base station as alert signals indicating the presence of data to be transmitted. The base station checks whether particular orthogonal codes are contained in the alert signals, and when the particular orthogonal codes are detected in the alert signals, information representing the detected orthogonal codes and the schedules for transmitting the data from the mobile terminals to the base station are transmitted from the base station to the mobile terminals as an alert response to the alert signals. When the information representing the orthogonal codes used for the alert signals are contained in the alert response transmitted from the base station to the mobile terminals, the data waiting to be transmitted is transmitted from the mobile terminals to the base station according the data transmission schedules in the alert response.
