    • The invention relates to a technique of providing illumination light having an even intensity, in order to make intensity of three illumination light with a simple structure. A second optical waveguide having a second incidence plane for second color light and a third optical waveguide having a third incidence plane for third color light are joined to a first optical waveguide having a first incidence plane for first optical light and an emergence plane opposed to the first incidence plane. A first dichroic filter that reflects the first color light and the third color light and transmits the second color light is formed on a joint surface between the first optical waveguide and the second waveguide. A second dichroic filter that reflects the first color light and the second color light and transmits the third color light is formed on a joint surface between the first optical waveguide and the third waveguide.

    • The invention provides a compact and bright image display device using a tilt-mirror device and a projector using the image display device. An image display device of the present invention can include a first color-ray light-source for supplying a G-ray, a second color-ray light-source for supplying a R-ray or B-ray, and a tilt-mirror device having a plurality of movable mirror elements being alternatively switchable the position thereof between a first reflection position and a second reflection position. The first color-ray light-source can be arranged so that the G-ray is reflected in a predetermined direction when the movable mirror elements are located in the first reflection position, and the G-ray is reflected in a direction when the movable mirror elements are located in the second reflection position. The second color-ray light-source can be arranged so that the R-ray or B-ray is reflected in the predetermined direction when the movable mirror elements are located in the second reflection position, while the R-ray or B-ray is reflected in a direction when the movable mirror elements are located in the first reflection position.

    • A radiation sensitive composition containing resist materials such as quinonediazido photo active compound and alkali soluble resin, and a mixed solvent comprising (A) 1 to 25% by weight of propylene glycol derivatives as represented by the formula:R.sub.1 --O--CH.sub.2 CH(CH.sub.3)--O--R.sub.2wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are hydrogen atom, alkyl group having 2 to 5 carbons and acetyl group, and total number of carbons in R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is less than 8, both the R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are not hydrogen atom at the same time, and (B) 75 to 99% by weight of at least one kind of solvent selected from propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate and ethyl lactate. The radiation sensitive composition is used for the manufacturing of semiconductor device and liquid crystal display element. The solvent is safe to human body and the amount of residual solvent in the resist film is small.
