    • Provided is a pneumatic tire capable of suppressing a flow of a sealant in a sealant layer due to a centrifugal force generated during the running of the tire. A pneumatic tire of the present invention is a pneumatic tire provided with a sealant layer on an inner surface of the tire in a region corresponding to a tread portion of the tire. The pneumatic tire includes a cover sheet disposed on an inner side of the sealant layer in a radial direction of the tire so as to cover the sealant layer. In the pneumatic tire, a mass per unit area of a center portion of the cover sheet is made larger than a mass per unit area of outer portions of the cover sheet. A width of the cover sheet may be made smaller than a width of the sealant layer.

    • This invention provides a pneumatic tire (T) including: a tacky sealant layer (5) formed of a rubber component decomposable by a peroxide, and disposed on the inner side of an inner liner (4) in a region corresponding to a tread part (1); and a cover rubber layer (6) covering the inner side of the tacky sealant layer (5). A sheet piece (7) is disposed to traverse an adhesive seal part (Q) and/or (P) at an edge portion of the cover rubber layer (6), while at least one surface of the sheet piece (7) is a release face which can be separated from at least one of the tacky sealant layer (5) and the cover rubber layer (6). A first end of the sheet piece (7) is inserted between the tacky sealant layer (5) and the cover rubber layer (6) while a second end thereof protrudes to the outer side of the adhesive seal part (Q) and/or (P). According to this configuration, since a decomposition gas generated from the tacky sealant layer at the time of curing is smoothly discharged, it is possible to prevent the uniformity from being deteriorated.

    • A device for recovering puncture repair liquid includes a tube to be inserted from a tire valve mounted to a wheel up to an inner surface of a tire, a container having a pair of connecting ports for receiving and containing puncture repair liquid recovered from inside the tire, and a connecting hose for connecting between the tire valve and one of the connecting ports. The other connecting port is removably attachable to a pressurized air source. A valve core is detached from a tire valve of a wheel with a tire mounted thereon into which puncture repair liquid has been injected. The tube is inserted into the tire which is filled with air from the pressurized air source that is then detached from the container. Thus, recovery of the puncture repair liquid is efficiently performed using pressure escaping from the tire without cutting out the tire valve.
