    • PURPOSE:To compensate for effect of temperature on the magnetic characteristic of a ferrite core, by incorporating into a magnetostrictive type pressure converter a thermocouple connected to end of leads wound on the ferrite core by one turn in the opposite direction to each other. CONSTITUTION:A magnetostrictive type pressure converter is formed by winding primary and secondary windings 2 and 3 on a ring-shaped ferrite core 1 and the voltage induced in the secondary winding 3 varies with changes in the permeability and magnetic resistance of the ferrite core 1 when a pressure is applied to the converter, to which enables the detection of the pressure. At this point, leads 7 and 8 are wound on the core 1 by one turn in the opposite direction to each other and a thermocouple 6 with the diameter of less than 0.3mm is incorporated at a length less than 3mm from the core 1. The effect of temperature on the magnetic characteristic of the core 1 is compensated for by the output. Thus, accurate pressure detection can be always done free from environmental effect.

    • PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the qualitative stability of molded/cast plastic, adhesion property of coating and the like by a method wherein fine and uniform irregularities are provided on the surface of the molding/casting surface of a mold. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a mold 1 to be ground, which is connected to the positive pole side 7, and the opposite pole 3 consisting of insoluble electrode such as carbon, platinum or the like, which is connected to the negative pole side 8, are installed in an electrolytic cell 5. In this case, the portions unnecessary to be ground are covered with insoluble insulating tape, coating or the like in order to realize insulating sealing 2. Secondly, the electrolytic cell 5 is filled with electrolyte 4. Thirdly, a DC power supply 6 is connected to both the poles so as to apply voltage in order to form fine and uniform irregular surface 17 on the mold 1. Fourthly, the resultant mold 1 is assembled as shown in the lower figure. Finally, resin 18 as material is inserted in the assembled mold in order to mold/cast. Fine irregularities, which are formed by reversing the irregular surface of the mold, are obtained on the surface of the resultant finished plastic product.
