    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bad effects which are given to a human body by radio waves by cutting off radio-frequency radiation that is emitted from a chip antenna in the direction of the human body and also providing a means which converges and emphasizing radio waves that are inputted to the chip antenna. SOLUTION: A chip antenna 1 is installed on a printed circuit 3 that is provided in an enclosure 2 and a part of radio waves 4 that are outputted from the antenna 1 is reflected against a part 2a of the enclosure 2 which is located between the antenna 1 and a human body 5. This reduces radio-frequency radiation in the direction of the human body due to the waves 4. Also, a radio wave reflecting layer 6 is provided on the part 2a of the enclosure 2 which is located between the antenna 1 installed on the circuit 3 and the body 5 and the part 2a of the enclosure 2 on which the layer 6 is provided is formed on a curved surface. With this, a part 4a of radio waves that are emitted is directly emitted into air and other radio waves 4b are reflected against the layer 6 and emitted into air. Then, radio waves that are emitted in the direction of the body 5 are reduced remarkably.

    • PURPOSE:To independently perform characteristic measurement and characteristic adjustment by trimming on a plurality of passive circuit elements contained in a closed loop by connecting one of the connecting points of the elements to paired lead conductors in a divided state where the closed loop is disconnected. CONSTITUTION:Passive circuit parts 1 contain a plurality of passive circuit elements 101-10n which are connected with each other so as to form at least one closed loop. On one surface of the parts 1 mounted with integrated circuit parts 2, a pair of lead conductors 401 and 409 which are respectively connected with lead terminals 301 and 316 are provided at an interval d1. The connecting point J1 of the passive circuit elements 101 and 102 is connected to the paired lead wires 401 and 409 in a divided state so as to disconnect the closed loop constituted of the elements 101-10n. Therefore, independent characteristic measurement can be performed and characteristic adjustment by trimming can be performed on the passive circuit elements 101-10n constituting the close loop.

CONSTITUTION:Three coils a, b, c are built in a magnetic substance 4; the coil a is formed by connecting U-shaped conductors (half coils) a1-5 for coil use one after another; the coils b, c are formed by connecting respective U-shaped conductors b1-b5, c1-c5 one after another. The coils a and b are connected to each other at the upper end in the figure; the coils b and c are connected to each other at the lower end; these coils are constituted in such a way that, when an electric current i flows to these coils, composite magnetic flux PHI is generated in an identical direction. By this setup, a high inductance can be obtained with a small size.

A notch 51 is respectively formed to middle parts of the capacitor electrodes 31a, 33a, 35a, 37a in the arrangement direction.

By forming the surface electrodes 12 in such a way as to displace the surface electrodes 12 from cut lines 14a, 15a and 16a on the cut end surfaces 14 to the inside of the plane 17, the generation of cut the burrs and the abrasion of the cutting tool are prevented in cutting the component 11 at the time of the manufacturing of the component 11. Moreover, by setting an interval between the surface electrodes 12 and the cut lines 15a and 16a on the cut side surfaces into an interval exceeding 0 and narrower than 100 μm, the alignment efficiency of the component 11 and the fixing strength of soldering at the time of mounting the component 11 are raised.

The reactance element 30 is placed at the part of a printed circuit board 10 where no ground pattern 20 is formed on both the surfaces, and the linear conductor pattern 40 is placed so that its lengthwise direction is perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the reactance element 30 and the linear conductor pattern 40 and the reactance element 30 form an inverted-L form.
