    • Light emitting device modules illuminate at a wide angle in the longitudinal direction of a lighting fixture. The lighting fixture can be provided with a light emitting device module having a light emitting device, an installation member for mounting multiple light emitting device modules thereon, and a support for supporting the installation member. The installation member 2 can be bent in multiple stages so that light beams from the multiple light emitting device modules mounted on the installation member are pointed to multiple different directions. The installation member can be bent in multiple stages so that an angle between the main optical axis line of the light emitting device module mounted on the forefront part of the installation member and a horizontal plane is smaller than the angle between the main optical axis line of the light emitting device module mounted on the root part of the installation member and the horizontal plane.

    • A pigment grinding resin of the formula: ##STR1## wherein, Ep is a residue of an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 150 to 2000 and a hydroxyl group equivalent of 300 to 4000; R.sup.1 represents a hydrophilic group selected from a 2-hydroxyethyl group and a group of the formula --CH.sub.2 CH(OH)CH.sub.2 R.sup.3 wherein, R.sup.3 is a hydroxyl group or a hydroxylalkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 represents a hydrophilic group selected from 3-hydroxypropyl, 2-hydroxypropyl and 4-hydroxybutyl; R.sup.4 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, hydroxylalkyl or alkylamide group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; m is a numerical value of 0.1 to 2.0; A is residue of a diisocyanate; B is a residue of an alcohol, an amine, a carboxylic acid, an oxime and a caprolactam having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; and n is a numerical value of 10.1 to 2.0. The pigment grinding resin of the present invention has excellent dispersibility. This invention provides a pigment grinding resin and pigment paste capable of affording a coated film having good appearance and corrosion resistance.

    • A vehicle test system including a plurality of apparatuses mutually communicable via a network. A control apparatus included in the apparatuses controls two or more objects in the vehicle by using respective control modules each having fault detecting module used to detect fault in the object being controlled. A test apparatus connected to the control apparatus commands any one of the control module included in the control apparatus in order to read out fault information in the objects. The control apparatus generates, in response to the test apparatus, a response command indicative of the fault information detected by the fault detecting module and transmits the response command to the test apparatus via the network. The response commands includes both fault information corresponding to the control module to which the test apparatus commands and fault information corresponding to the other control module.

    • A vehicle light can include a light emitting diode (LED) serving as a light source and an optical system for controlling a light distribution pattern of the light beams from the LED light source utilizing a light guide (such as a lens body having an inner reflecting surface). The vehicle light can project illumination light with a low beam light distribution pattern. The vehicle light can include an LED light source and a lens body serving as a light guide. The lens body can include a light incident surface, a reflecting surface, and a light exiting surface. The LED light source can have a rearmost end light emitting point from which light beams are emitted to form a bright-dark boundary line. Among the light beams, perpendicularly incident light beams not subjected to refraction can be projected toward the bright-dark boundary line while obliquely incident light beams that are subjected to refraction can be corrected to be directed in a lower angular direction than the bright-dark boundary line and to be mixed with the other light beams, thereby preventing color shading of illumination light from the vehicle light.
