    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a detector from failure due to an impact of collision with a ground face, when distributing scatteringly the detectors from the sky to install the detectors for monitoring the ground in a dangerous places.
      SOLUTION: This failure preventive unit is provided with a casing 1a for storing movably observation equipment 2, an electric viscous fluid 5 filled in the casing 1a to impart flow resistance to the observation equipment 2, and a spring 3 for vibration-damping the observation equipment 2 to prevent the observation equipment 2 from colliding with the casing 1a, when the observation equipment 2 moves in the casing 1a, and is penetrated into a ground face when distributing the casing storing the observation equipment. The observation equipment starts therein vibration in an inside of the casing by the spring, but the vibration is damped by the electric viscous fluid to bring a displacement into zero after some time. A switch is turned on after a fixed time after colliding with the ground face, a viscosity of the electric viscous fluid thereby gets high, and the casing is thereby integrated with the observation equipment.
