The hopper 7 and the bodies of revolution 14, 15 are inclined backwards and moved forward on the road surface of a draining sidewalk, and the coating material is infected and applied. A coating surface is visually recognized uniformly from one direction but visually recognized coarsely from the opposite direction. Since the bottom sections of the recessed sections of the road surface are not coated, a drainage effect is displayed. Accordingly, a traffic marking line having display visibility, a slip-resistant effect or durability can be applied and formed simply and surely.
